As I have repeatedly said - I do not think Pod is not scum, but I am not sold that he is scum. My issue is not so much with the fact that you guys are suspicious, but that your suspicions are based on a flimsy thing that does not deserve the honor of being called evidence. It seems a poor reason to vote him, and therefore I am suspicious of your true reasons. I find it difficult to believe that something like first-post flavor soft-claiming is incriminating, or that anything drastic will come of it.

Understandably. But I shall still defend all players I see as being targeted with little or no evidence. Of course I may be wrong, but I would rather be wrong for the right reasons than right by accident, in cases like these, given the odds.

But there is really usually so little to go on Day one.  We need to vote for somebody.  You could almost always argue on day one that the evidence is super flimsy.

In this case something is definitely up.  I am not sure what it is, but my vote is currently on Pod for about the best D1 reason ever.

I agree that evidence tends to be flimsy Day 1. But that does not mean we merely accept that. We may settle for it, eventually, but we oughtn't start out assuming that that is all we will get. This conversation over Pod raised many points worth investigating, such as the fact that people are fine with accepting the flimsy evidence just because 'that's day 1'. Well I protest that. We ought to try really investigating on Day 1, and this specific day 1 has provided us with myriad opportunities to do so. Yet the defense for the attack on Pod is 'flimsy evidence, what do you expect?'? I expect effort! I expect investigation and debate! Not acceptance of an artificial status-quo that only remains in place due to our acceptance!

Hmm... still not liking this at all. Nippy is about the last person is support A lynch on atm.

I disliked the lynch on pod for all the reasons Nippy did, but his lack of reaction makes him the most used target for me at this point in the cycle.

so @PodRacer at L-2 and still no word from him in his own defense, while Gnips has defended both really. With the short amount of time left, I’m happy to swing my vote if it means we are not getting another indecisive D1.

I think I’ve made it pretty clear that an indecision leading to no-lynch is among the last things I want, because the numbers always work in town’s favour. And I’m not wasting that
