kempokid 868 Posted November 26, 2017 (edited) I'm catching up on the new season of Rebels, and came across this new Imperial Shuttle. A) What is the name of this ship? B) Would it make a good addition to the game? We could finally have a Thrawn crew card! Forresto 2,177 Posted November 26, 2017 (edited) http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Patrol_transport They were introduced in the Clone Wars but its never been stated or shown if they're capable of space flight. They're pretty cool though. Edited November 26, 2017 by Forresto 1 GILLIES291 reacted to this
JJFDVORAK 1,210 Posted November 26, 2017 (edited) http://www.starwars.com/databank/patrol-transport They are capable of space flight as they are shown in a hanger on a space station in Rebels season 4. I think they are very cool and I think we will see them in the game eventually as an Imperial version of the Wookie Gunship. BadMotivator 1,261 Posted November 26, 2017 We could use a cheap ship with 3 crew slots. Hopefully in the 15ish point range.

That’d be tough to pull off. Maybe with this kind of stat line: PS 1, 2 Attack, 1 agility, 4 hull, 2 shield. Similar to the Bomber. But since it’s not a TIE class, it can’t take Lightweight Frame. kempokid 868 Posted November 26, 2017 Looking at the rear cannon note on the Wiki entry, I’m thinking that would make for a fun title. “You may only use your Cannon upgrade from your Auxiliary Firing Arc. If you perform an attack with your primary weapon that does not hit, you may perform an additional attack with a Cannon Upgrade.” 1 GILLIES291 reacted to this
BadMotivator 1,261 Posted November 26, 2017 (edited) I'd go more with, 1 Attack, 2 Agility, 4 hull, 3 Shields. 3 Crew, System, and Tech slot. A pure support ship with a good amount of hull, but gotten at a discount because its low agility. At least if its a small base. Focus, Target Lock, and Coordinate. PS1: 14 points PS3: 16 points Named PS5: 18 points with some support related pilot ability. Maybe "After performing a Coordinate action, you may choose another friendly ship. That ships may immediately perform a free Focus action" FFG has historically way overpriced support crew carriers. They need to be very cheap because their offensive power is crap, and even shuttles with "good" attack values are very clumsy and can't contribute well. Title would add some offensive punch. Security Craft: 2 points: Your upgrade bar gains a Cannon slot. You may perform cannon secondary attacks against ships outside your firing arc. You may not equip cannon upgrade cards costing 4 or more Squad points. Dial would be something like, 1 Speed: White banks, Green straight 2 speed: white turns, green banks and straight. 3 speed: red turns, white banks and straight. But with some rear arc action as kind of a wookie Gunship/TIE SF mash-up
UnitOmega 2,740 Posted November 26, 2017 Aux arc, missile slot. One of it's nicknames is "helicopter" (even though that's not how aviation works) so maybe some stops and reverse maneuvers.

Anyway, did you know that battlefront II still had the classic star wars look and even some of the lightsaber moves looked like classic dark forces II: jedi knight? And that the Force Unleashed is still from LucasArts while Battlefront II actually ain't. That's from Pandemic Studios, LucasArts was just the publisher. . 1 minute ago, gryffindorhouse said: Isn't this the ship in the background of that kirgawhatsit pilot card from g4h? Jup. Note that I didn't include TFU in a list of good games. Lucasarts worked best as a publisher/licenser, tbh. A good portion of their late in house stuff was just... Garbage. Not really, they just stopped focusing on the gaming market to instead do cinema sfx. Given the relative money involved and they get their payday before release instead of depending on the release doing well it was a smart business move, if a lamentable one.
