I looked it up on Wookiepedia and all that it said was 'after she freed herself from the trash compactor. . .' which makes me think that they casually skipped over that portion of the explanation. jmswood 2,706 Posted December 4, 2017 I read the comic. It was a concerted effort to validate the character after the lame representation Phasma got in TFA.
