I find it funny that one of the first things said was that this was an endless debate/discussion and that was argued.

Anything to do with this power leads to issues but these forums are here to allow the community to help each other with the shortcomings of the game as unlike a video game we don't get patches per say.  Y'all need to be more patient with one another.

I won't bother attempting a suggestion other than obviously this is going to be a table to table thing.

The only thing is that this is essentially a rehash of previous threads, there hasn't been anything new added to the discussion. Also there hasn't been an endless debate on it either as it usually ends with the same result.

Force push, and it's lack of a separate power is a non issue, it can be covered with move and also bind, where you can move someone between range bands, Knockdown is covered by using advantages as has been confirmed by the devs. Disorient even can be mimicked just by using advantages to apply setback without treading on the toes of the weapon quality, so pretty much everyone is on agreement.

An addition to add: Knocking someone down (Prone) at Range actually gives advantage to the victim. All Ranged Attacks against Prone targets incur a Setback die (and is not considered a Defense, so it stacks). The Knockdown Talent actually helps because it's for Melee combat, and attacking any Prone target with a Melee attack gains a Boost die.

On to the Topic: one counter to Force Push is for a victim to range attack from the ground. They don't have to stand up to shoot. In fact, from Prone, at range, taking Aim and Firing back at the Force User sounds like one of the best ideas. If they have a Saber, then you are hopefully farther away so they have to exhaust themselves to chase you down. If they are Ranged (with either Force Powers or Weapons) they have made it harder to hit that target.
