Surgency34 0 Posted October 16, 2017 this is probably a dumb question, but when dealing with multiple cardsets for multiple campaigns, there isn't really any downside to storing cards of a certain type (equip, investigators, locations, etc) together, right? I was putting things away the other day after playing my first game of Dunwich, and couldn't remember which cards went with which set.
General Zodd 459 Posted October 16, 2017 I always keep each scenario's specific cards separate, then all the encounter sets are grouped together. Player cards are kept away from the scenario and encounter cards. I think that's the bare minimum to not have a complete nightmare every time you sit down to play. I've gone a lot more organised than that within those broad categories, but I know that most people don't have my neat-freak tendencies when it comes to games! Somatose Boy 28 Posted October 17, 2017 I usually do like General Zodd and keep all the scenario cards grouped (Agenda, Act, Locations, etc) by Campaign (Core, Dunwich, Carcosa) & general encounters grouped with/near their Campaign (if possible), Standalone scenarios grouped together, with dividers between each campaigns, encounter sets, and each standalone. I have my player cards and basic weaknesses in a binder, and player decks in a deck box that carries multiple decks along with health/sanity/resource tokens and mini figures in place of the mini cards. I am hoping that the Arkham Nights box is big enough to store all/most of that in one box. I will just have to wait until mine arrives.
starrius 122 Posted October 17, 2017 I do mine per set in numerical order as it's in a card binder. If I wasn't in a binder the other options arevia me but my way means I can't just add cards per type
Adira 22 Posted October 17, 2017 I organize mine in a Hobby Lobby box with the Broken Token insert, similar to the picture below. I keep all the player cards together, split by class and then organized by XP. Then I have all the encounter cards together, separated by encounter type (similar to column 2 in the picture). And All the scenarios are kept together, separated by scenario (like column 1). Each scenario will contain its Agenda, Act, Locations, and any specific set-aside cards. 5 IceQube MkII, Captain Mayhem, xodarap and 2 others reacted to this

Do you have a number or name for it? That is a nice set-up

Yeah I got the same setup, minus the divider labels, slightly different layout. Works great. I also got a broken token, token storage box and if I turn it on its side, I can store all my tokens taking up half a row. Although as the card pool grows, its going to have to be stored external. I ended up sealing it with Danish Oil, which means I had to disassemble the case. Its not clear in the photo but its a brief case.
Adira 22 Posted October 18, 2017 @Captain Mayhem - Here's a link to that exact insert: http://www.thebrokentoken.com/standard-sized-card-organizer-for-wooden-artist-case/ That should fit the cards sleeved. Here's the one I have, which fits the cards unsleeved (I keep the player and scenario cards unsleeved and the encounter cards sleeved - I just put them in sideways to fit: http://www.thebrokentoken.com/euro-card-organizer-for-wooden-artist-case/ They also have one for putting your cards in horizontally. These inserts all fit into the Hobby Lobby All Media Artist's Supply Sketch Box (#125005). 2 Somatose Boy and Surgency34 reacted to this

Adira 22 Posted October 25, 2017 I don't have these, but some people use these: Found here (different sizes available, I believe): http://oplaser.co.uk/shop/arkham-antique-assembled.html

If I understand you're question right it's pretty much up to you but if you lose track of what cards go with what expansions just look at the symbol on the cards themselves. They are also numbered as sets to help sort the cards with player backs. If you're asking about storage options (based on some of the replies I've seen) I would check out the Arkham Chronicle on You Tube. It's a channel dedicated to only the Arkham Horror card game and they get promotional storage solutions and stuff a lot. They even have giveaways for them. I hope that helped! That helped me. 1 Ersatz Nihilist reacted to this

Hah! I did notice that. I've actually ended up springing for the really big one as I've got the new expansions for Mansions of Madness coming soon-ish and I'm already maxed out on the main box. This is easily the most stupidly ostentatious thing I've ever bought for gaming, but I didn't buy Destiny 2, or the new Wolfenstein, and I've been saving really hard for the last few months. So yeah. I'm just about done justifying the stupid money I spend on this to myself. Buyers remorse in the morning, I'm sure. At least I'm in the UK so I don't have to pay £60 to get it shipped overseas. 1 Jobu reacted to this

I'd LOVE that custom Arkham box, but I've already invested in the Hobby Lobby and Broken Token set, so I really can't justify spending money on ANOTHER box, no matter how beautiful it is!
