You are most welcome! The list I made is quite similar to the one Tokra used as well. Funny how so many of us on the forum end up sharing a mental meta :D

And then there is @Dr alex who gave me double interdictors...... whaaaaaat.

Well if it’s any consolation, karma has come back at me and I’ve received  @Blingvarr‘s double VSD list...

A link to the lists (without Objectives) have been placed at the end of the the first post.

Quite a bit of variety there, I think I would have enjoyed trying any of them.  Definitely wouldn't have thought up some of them but I would have enjoyed playing them.

Oh, the pain!  The pain of seeing your list go down in flames, it hurts even more when I can't blame my poor to middling gameplay skills!

:P

That's OK. Blame mine! My mind was really out of it today (not to excuse Tokra's victory over me, it was well-earned), and I flew the list rather poorly. Sorry. :(

On the plus side, you have inspired me to run Ackbar whales again. I need to get better with those.

@doobleg our lists are almost identical xD

Hehe @Visovics I'm really glad someone else is showing the Interdictor some love.

At first I was cursing @Dupy for giving me a one ship list, but upon reflection I'm really looking forward to taking the Doom Pickle for a spin.

Blingvarr vs. Moodswing ends in a 52-25 win for Bling, which I believe is a 6-5.

This was a great game. We rolled for initiative and I won, choosing first, and playing his targeting beacons. He placed his single ISD 2 in the middle of his deployment, and proceeded to drop to speed 0. I maneuvered yavaris up left side, pushing keyan, norra, and dagger ahead of it with FCT. He eventually engaged with his ties, but I was able to pull off a yavaris double tap on the TIE's. This is where the dice gods kicked me in both testes. I literally couldn't kill black squadron with 2 dbl taps. Bling retaliated next turn with avenger and Howl, decimating my b wings, and later taking out Norra. I proceeded to go into "get the **** away from the big angry Avenger" in the middle of the map, and was able to skirt his red arc's and run with everybody. I lost all squads, he lost black and 2 TIEs. No ships were lost on either side.

Great match. No log, unfortunately, but you wouldn't have wanted to see those rolls of mine anyway. Totally horrifying.

JJ's Juggernaut vs Thrindal (1st Player)

Objective: Fire Lanes

278-63 (MoV 215) win for JJ

The doom pickle comes out on top, mainly thanks to 14 VP tokens. I lost all my A-wing, but bagged Demo, a gozanti, as well as Jendon and Zertik. Good game to my opponent, thanks for being a great sport!

Thank you, it was fun but trying to burn down an MC80 with Blast Doors with just a Demo and Stele was too much for me.  I could have used Jerjerod more efficiently and while I guess I won the squadron battle I made some mistakes and didn't get Stele on the MC80 fast enough.  I completely left Zertik out to dry, sorry Z-man.

Want the feedback now or after the last round?

An informed opinion at the end. Push your fleet to the limits and see what it can do.

I know you have preconceived ideas about everything. Lets test those ideas.

Skycake and Dupy just ended.  It was a 75 to 18 win for Dupy, MOV 57.

A show down between Skycake's Interdictor + Demo vs.  Dupy's Admonition, Luke, Wedge, Nora, Biggs, and plain jane flotilla.

I was blessed with a better bid and chose first.  Skycake was hamstrung with Superior position as an option.  We set up opposed each other.  He did his best to grav well and grav shift reroute me.  His skilled use of obstacle moves did affect my admonition's movement for the first couple turns and decreased my big hitters usefulness.

Demo arced away from my forces keeping the Interdictor in between as a meat shield.  Admonition and Demo thus played ring around the Interdictor.  The Interdictor just absorbed the damage doled out to it.   I decided to use my squads and farm objective points.  Despite my bombers having trouble hitting the barn whilst in it, I managed 5 tokens from rear shots over the course of the game.

Skycake's Interdictor scored a great shot on my flotilla with it's first shot.  My flotilla limped along  with one hull until Demo managed an ET ram to finish it off.

Not the most impressive game, but, Skycake did an awesome job mitigating the poor objective handed to him.   He was a great opponent.

Thank you sir.

So Dr Alex v @Dorrin314 has ended 225-124 to Dorrin.

we played my minefields, which is utterly awful on a 3x3 due to the limitations on placement of obstacles. Dorrin flew slowly around the edge of my mines, I flew slowly towards him, his squads cut me apart, I lost one VSD, then my flag ship did a natty bit of manouverinng onto an asteroid avoiding a double arc, but clipping a mine and thanks to structural damage losing half it’s health. I killed Dorrin’s flagship, his squads took mine down to one health and no shields, then his gozanti killed me with one blue die.

i’m not a fan of my list, Dorrin’s has merit though
