Just back now after a very busy day of exams and work.

I'm not sure how I feel about the whole Cal situation. I'm not convinced either way. Potentially some opportunistic scum jumping on him, or Cal was cleverly backpedaling.

As for Ebon's suspicion of me, well that just rather reinforces my suspicions. It's day one, and with an open setup there isn't much to go on. Ninja's move was the most potentially scummy thing I saw, so it's were my vote went. I actually am more convinced by Ninja's response that he is town and it was well intentioned, however your response to me is now what feels scummy.

Well, Cal seemed to explain himself rather reasonably. It didn't sound like a rock solid claim in the first place. That's not to say that he couldn't be just a really clever goon, but he seems clear for now. Meanwhile, I found this somewhat interesting:

When I made that mistake, it was just that- a mistake, and I apologised & explained. However, Vis doing the same thing after I was called out for it still seems weird. I don't see reason to lynch him, but my scum detector is starting to beep.

Totally get that, we are running low on time.  Apologies if my joke distracted from getting any real stuff done.  I will throw a vote, and its' not a good lead, really, but I did notice a couple of band wagoners after Oni (who made a really good point) voted.

in regards to caldias my initial trail of thought seems a bit hollow, his defence seems genuine, but it was a breadcrumb no matter what he says!  As such I'm more aligned with ebon that his play was actually designed as a plea, so hindsight finds me glad that I didn't vote for him before I put my head down.

which puts me in a bind with a lot of thinly spread votes as where best to place mine.  I believe we are at cal3 mad2 and then a few odd single votes here and there. Hmmm.

Although I have no read on mad as usual for d1, I do like the way imp cap is operating and thinking so far in this one,  but if I put a vote down there still a chance ovi moves to a new target and the train stops before it starts. Hmmm!

the pistols at dawn between ebon and jj is an interesting one, each convinced the other is acting  suspiciously. I think the extra games under my belt gives me more insight into how bloody late in the gmt you have to stay up to hear from jj! So I'm not gonna follow ebon 100% and vote jj at this early stage, but I will be watching to see what develops.

with cal on the radar I'm looking further afield, and of my options at this point mad is the guy I don't want pulling strings in the scumchat. Not perfect logic I'm aware, but if I sleep through deadline I want to have a vote out.

Seeing a bunch of "lets kill caldias because he's got the most votes."

I understand the impulse, but I don't think it's a great play.

Part of that is that I now think I was wrong about what was going on there. Which puts Cal squarely back to the "I have no idea" camp.

To be honest, I don't see any really reason to vote for Mad other than him being a little quiet...The only reason I'm going to vote for him is to avoid a no vote.

WELL then, this is getting interesting fast.

First things first, about Mads...sorry for starting a lynch train on a townie. I screwed up, plain and simple. Personally, I was hoping that a vote or two would get his attention/force him to be a bit more involved, but that wasn't what happened. Meanwhile:

Not sure why the goons went for EbonHawk yet. Perhaps because he was suspecting JJ and Cal? That's all I can think of for why they'd knock off the new guy.
