All right! We are rapidly approaching the milestone of having no Imperial lists in the Top 20! Just so everyone understands the significance: The game has NEVER had one faction be so poorly represented at any time since the release of Scum and the 3 faction game. You forgetting the extreme lack of rebels during the deadeye u-boat phase?  Pretty sure they were at least as bad off as imperials right now.

It's actually VERY similar. List Juggler as of Deadeye U-Boats

I'd argue Imps are worse off now due to AGI being a worthless stat and nearly their entire fleet being overcosted for that reason. MOV just wrecks Imps right now, there's nearly no list you can field that can preserve points now that Imps basically have no defenses.

By now I trust high level tournaments much more instead of total aggregated data.

Nationals for example have less fun squads a player wanted to try out, and more working ones.

Very similar situation then, with only a couple of rebel lists cracking the top 20 and everything else being Imperial and Scum. It wasn't 100% as bad then for rebel lists but close enough for a rough comparison.

Also, whether you trust high level tournaments or Metawing they're saying the same thing: Imperials don't compete at a high level nearly as consistently as Scum or Rebels in the current meta. That's not some hot topic of contention or anything, it's just fact.

That was also an imbalanced time, but as I recall, Rebels still did quite well in the most capable hands when the stakes were highest.

Yeah, only the largest tourneys shows where the power lies, SC's are mostly for fun.; but World's??

I really really hope you are aware how insignificant the top4 is in a game like X-Wing.

So let's look at the data that @Favoritism Flight Games sees as so damning.

These are the squads sorted by top20 of archetypesthat were played since 13th of July, the start of Wave 11.

Cutting down to nationals looks even worse:

Here the Imps are just 5% of all squads sorted by top20 archetypes. But what if we look at pilots?

Aw man, that doesn't look so bad, now Imps are almost 18%. Sure that's below 33%, but clearly more than 5%. And cutting to nationals?

Aw man, even worse! Now the imps are 20%, and Scum is also just 30%.

Clearly the data shows this: FFG, WHY DO YOU HATE SCUM?!?!

While I'm not sure which was worse between the current empire position or what the Rebels went through (lean towards the Rebels having it worse), I think we can all agree that both situations are deplorable and that the current situation should be dealt with like the pervious was.
