JerusalemJones 1 Posted February 15, 2010 I'm planning on holding a tournament on April 10th, noy sure how big I want to make it, but I intend to get some non-standard prizes (inluding a singed art print by Tiziano, probably Shaggydog at this point). It would be at my store in Cambridge, MN -- about 1 hour north of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Looking at an entry fee of $5 per player. I'm trying to get a rough figure of prospective players. Not sure if many people even inside the state would travel here, let alone outside, so I'm trying to figure out the best time to run it -- Noon or 3pm (the only reason at 3 is because we run weekly Warhammer: Invasion events at noon, and most of us Thrones players play that as well). If anyone thinks this might be something they would attend, let me know and/or post here, as I want to make a final determination in a week or so. JerusalemJones 1 Posted February 28, 2010 With the current announcement of the Events Center Regionals for all the LCG lines on the 23-25th, I have decided to scale back this event to simply a local affair. I will run this event, and one on March 27th both at 6pm as essentially warm-up tournaments so we can start to prepare for the Regionals, and get back in the swing of tournament events. Anyone in the local area (or where-ever I won't stop folks from traveling) is welcome to attend.
