Is Thrawn going to be in The Last Jedi

Now I read a rumour back in march that Benicio del Torso was going to be playing Thrawn , but took it with a pinch of salt.

At work tonight, I saw an advert for Star Wars Black Series figure for The Last Jedi and it included Thrawn.

After a small search, I've come across this

So hopefully we will see are favourite blue, white suit wearing Grand Admiral in live action. Whether it is Del Toro is still up for debate

Someone pointed out, that, on the description on the Boxes, it is written in past tense.  Those who have not survived until that point, including Darth Vader, for example, have their text written in Past Tense...

Rey and those who are still alive, Present Tense.

Thrawn?

Past Tense.

Its entirely possible he is dead and/or gone before that point.

I'm not sure how long Chiss live, but I find this unlikely if they're anything near human, Thrawn is approximately 40 in Rebels, which takes place 40 years before Ep VII.

Consequently, the action figure is ******* sweet. The lady of the house picked one up for me.

I'd love to see an old Thrawn. Imagine if Snoke is part of the bigger threats against the Chiss that Thrawn wanted help with. I want to see the Chiss fleet, I want to see a 60 yr old Eli Vanto in a high hierarchy, the only human, the same way Thrawn was the only alien in the empire. I want an epic space battle where the NR is getting destroyed by the FO and the Chiss arrive with an entire fleet doing a precision jump straight into perfect position and you see the FO get pushed back. I dream too high...  ;-;

As great as that would be I think casual audiences would want to know why there were some random blue skinned people showing up who haven't really been mentioned before that point. I think Chiss stuff will probably be mostly covered in stuff that isn't the movies unless Thrawn gets his own movie. And, just to be honest I'd so much more love to see a Thrawn movie than a Han Solo, Obi-wan, Boba Fett spinoff film.

Oh god now I cant not think of that thanks. Imagine if it turns out he's a force user and he does that hand thing everytime?
