Edit: This looks like a good combo: 4-LOM (1), Ion Discharger (2) & Pulsed Ray Shield (2) for 34 pts. <40 pts. for options such as: Z-95s with BMST and Ion Pulse Missiles, or one mini-ace (Genesis Red, Serissu with Tractor Beam, OT, etc.) with a cheap blocker/BMSTer (Z-95, Jakko Gunrunner). Wouldn't the defender still be considered as the defender of the attack when Dace's ability triggers, which means that Jostero's ability can't be used? Looking at the timing chart, it's unclear as to exactly when the defender/attacker is no longer the defender/attacker, and Dace's ability would take place during the Compare Results phase (as that's when you determine if the attack hits). I could definitely see it being ruled either way, but couldn't come to a definitive answer when looking at the timing chart with other members of our local league. Deadeye Harpoon Jostero 2.) Nym in, "Genius" out a seismic, Trajectory simulator launches bomb instead of dropping it 3.) seismic triggers, Jostero triggers --> harpoon missile into enemy 4.) Nym harpoons enemy at PS 10, triggering harpoon 5.) Here is what I'm trying currently: Jostero has Harpoon to shoot Expertise to cause damage Chimps to cause even more EU to position himself Stealthdevice for some early protection - AT might be better, but I prefer him in the fray, and Scrane can get it back if needed. Bumpmaster to help out the Captain Intimidate to negate 3PO on Falcon, Wookie, ARC -- considering Adaptability to be able to go PS2 if needed, or 4 to move together with whole squad AP-Laser (Jostero proc) Feedback array (Jostero proc) Intelligence Agent to know where to go for AP laser Tweek - the wildcard Seismic Torpedo to proc Jostero FCS, AT arcdodger with sometimes fancy abilities So far, the list is 6:1 in tests. Test highlights: Tweek managed to copy Omega Leader, brutal with FCS PS11 Poe got killed in activation phase: seismic torpedo->Jostero w/ harpoon -> had 1 hull left, he bumped Jumpmaster and AP laser killed him off. Burius1981 552 Posted January 8, 2018 (edited) I bet you could make the cut at a local tourney with it. Experienced players are going to try to get rid of Jostero pretty quickly though. His low price is off set by the fragility of the platform and low PS. I've toyed with just Vaksai, Expertise, VT, and 0 cost upgrades on him to keep him cheaper at 28 points along side ships with some combination of Harpoons, R5-P8 and bombs.
