Wave 12: What we know

Probably someone will make a better topic, but it isn't here yet so here we go. Just putting everything together from the images that I have seen.

Wave 12

Kimogila: 3 1 6 2, has PS 8 / 7 / 5 / 3,
focus, TL, barrel roll, RELOAD. EPT, torpedo, missile, salvaged astromech, illicit
Also "jam" tokens. A title, a new astro (R5TK), new EPT, new missile. Bullseye firing arc (can apparently hit several lined up ships)

DIAL: is that a 4 talon roll?! Or a 4 Kturn?

Phantom II: 2 2 4 1, PS 9 (fenn rau), 5 (Ezra), 3 (Zeb), 1 (?).
Focus, TL, coordinate (!). EPT, Crew, Astromech
2 new astromechs (one is chopper), 2 new titles (phantom and ghost), Auxiliary firing arc
Fenn Rau (PS9), 20pt, When an enemy ship inside your firing arc at Range 1-3 becomes the active ship during the Combat Phase, if you are not stressed you may receive 1 stress token. If you do, that ship cannot spend tokens to modify it’s dice when attacking this round.
DIAL: white 3 bank

Gunboat: 2 2 4 3, PS 7 / 5 / 4 / 2.
Focus, TL, SLAM, RELOAD. EPT, Missile, Torpedo
Cruismissile and two new cannons (one is jammer). Also new EPT, two titles (one allows to equip cannons), advanced slam
Major Vynder (PS7), 26pt: When defending, if you have a weapons disabled token roll 1 additional defense die

  • Comes with jam tokens.
  • PS7 Major Vynder is 26 pts (roll extra evade die when weapons disabled)

The Assault Gunboat PS7 guy: Major Vynder: When defending, if you have a weapons disabled token, roll 1 additional defense die.

The unknown action is Reload, probably an "assign a weapons disabled token and turn up a used torp or missile card".

New action is Reload, both of the ships that have that little 2arrows pointing at each other icon have a Reload rules card
Only the Scum ship has Bullseye, which if you notice has a much narrower aux firing arc facing forward. My guess is if you're in it he gets additional mods (hits to crits or something)

Phantom II has new titles for both the shuttle and Ghost, and what looks like a Scum and Rebel only crew-member that starts with "M".

Gunboat also has two titles, for what looks like OS-1 and XG-1 configurations.

There's a new EPT in both the Scum and Imperial ships that looks like it has to do with ordnance. "Satu- Sa-". Based on that wording, I'm going to guess its "Saturday Savior" and that someone at FFG is a big fan of the album Fantastic Planet by Failure.

Fenn Rau's ability reads - when an enemy ship in your firing arc at range 1-3 becomes the active ship during the combat phase, if you are not stressed you may receive one stress token. If you do, that ship may not spend tokens to modify its dice when attacking this round.

 

So, not really very good without that reposition - at least thrusters or engine. And it better have some good greens (with R2-astromech). At least the rear arc will help with that.

Not really. Seems good actually.

You give it some missiles/torpedoes. It fires them off, then next turn it slams away out of trouble and uses Advanced Slam to reload it's used torpedo/missile. And that turn it's got 3 agility effectively if it does get shot at, possibly at range 3 too.

Give him PtL so you could focus for defense that turn.

So it really depends on how the Dial is for shedding stress.

Or you just use a cannon instead and slam every other turn to reposition.

 

My guess on the dial is,

Green 1 straight

Green 2 banks and green 2 straight. White hard 2s

Green 3 Straight. White 3 banks. Maybe Red hard 3s.

Or staple PS9 from VI to shoot first and trigger Weapons disabled?

Uhoh. Between Coordinate and Fenn Rau's ability, Biggs just found a new buddy. Throw R2-F2 on Biggs to bump up his agility, have Fenn Coordinate over a Focus action to Biggs, and then use Fenn to stop a ship from modifying their attack against Biggs. So Biggs gets three agility, Focus, Lowhhrick evade, DtF/Selflessness, Rex condition, AND now one of the attacks against him cannot be modified. Eugh.

Now, an E-wing only Astromech which added that sort of ability (once per round!) would be pretty neat.
