kris40k 4,539 Posted August 16, 2017 Tel never actually dies with his ability. You cancel and discard all damage when you would have died, then deal out four cards. 3 VanderLegion, xanderf and Zucch10 reacted to this

It would ALSO apply if you deal fatal damage to someone but they aren't removed from the board due to simultaneous fire and not having taken their shot yet (in which case they'd explode for splash when they're removed after shooting). Wibs 61 Posted August 17, 2017 When are we expecting the monstrosity to hit the shops? Any chance they would be tournament legal mid September?

Pre release packs will be at gencon, according to the news. So possibly? Ok, thought bubble flowing on from condition stacking. Given nearly everyman and his dog is pairing these things with scavenger cranes and EM, does that mean you'll potentially need 6+ condition cards/tokens at a Tournament just incase (thinking biggs mitigation or some of the hp sinks here) ? Potentially makes these suckers rich mans play.................. Edited August 17, 2017 by Ralgon
thespaceinvader 17,566 Posted August 17, 2017 (edited) General release mid to late september probably, like w10 last year. Edited August 17, 2017 by thespaceinvader
Foxtr0t 25 Posted August 17, 2017 So Captain Jostero can double-feedback? Combat phase : attack=feedback -> ability=attack=feedback. Then you're double-ion and you take a third one to regen x)
Vineheart01 6,403 Posted August 17, 2017 More than likely a month/half after gencon. Im hoping my friend that went to gencon can snag an extra one for me. One of these years i need to actually go to gencon, since Indianapolis is a daytrip from me.

You can't feedback if you've performed any attacks int he combat phase, and if you use feedback, you can't perform any other attacks in the combat phase. So if jostero uses feedback array, he can't trigger his ability.
westiebestie 140 Posted August 18, 2017 A little late to the party, but I've been theorycrafting quite a bit on the coming Vaksai release. Here are the lists I'm most looking forward to trying out! Disclaimer: These lists are not intended to beat Nymgar/Denym/Blue jeans at Worlds. They are intended to have fun with. If you don't want to have fun playing, look away! First off, utilizing the Vaksai title to build nasty generics. Assaj to double stress and three ships to slice it into damage. Also featuring Hull upgrade and PRS for a sturdy 5/1 with regen on the Ks. Finally, the Tractor token from Assaj's title as well as Crack shot should help them get more damage through. Slice'em and Dice 'em Assaj, PTL, Shadow Caster, Tactician, Black Market Slicer Tools,Gyroscopic targeting 48 Black Sun Ace, Crack Shot, Vaksai, XX-23 Tracers, Black Market Slicer Tools, Guidance Chips, Hull Upgrade, Pulsed Ray Shield 26 Black Sun Ace, Crack Shot, Vaksai, XX-23 Tracers, Black Market Slicer Tools, Guidance Chips, Hull Upgrade, Pulsed Ray Shield 26 Total: 100 http://xwing-builder.co.uk/view/740194/friendly-slice-em-n-diceem#view=compact Next up, we have Captain Jouster and his amazing ability, and playing around with the new Harpoon missiles. Combining Jostero with two partners that can trigger his ability, and also kitting up himself for r1 nastyness. Feedback array/PRS if he overshoots, due to PS4 not being PS9.. The fourth ship is there to Ionize and help get the Captain into R1 for a potential 2x (4 red+1 hit) attacks. It's not going to happen often, but he's a threat and he's cool. Captain Jouster's wonder weapons Captain Jostero, Fearlessness, Vaksai, Feedback Array, Engine Upgrade, Autothrusters, Pulsed ray shield 30 Quinn Jast, Deadeye, Heavy Scyk, Harpoon missile 25 Black Sun Enforcer, Starviper Mk II, Seismic Torpedo, Autothrusters 26 Sunny Bounder, Heavy Scyk, Ion Cannon 19 Total: 100 Finally, I may be completely crazy, but I want to play Graz. His card is pretty. I've swapped Fenn for Graz (there I said it, I AM crazy) in the All 5 Red list. This list will not be competitive, but it sure will be fun if I beat someone with it.. 5 Reds/5 Greens feat Graz the Taunted Talonbane Cobra, Predator, Vaksai, Glitterstim, Engine Upgrade, Autothrusters, Pulsed Ray Shield 36 Graz the Hunter, Vaksai, Scavenger Crane, Stealth Device, Pulsed Ray Shield, Vectored Thrusters 30 Zuckus, Juke, Mist Hunter, Tractor Cannon, Greedo, Fire Control System 34 Total: 100 1 Managarmr reacted to this

Vineheart01 6,403 Posted August 18, 2017 At the time of the faq, I think Dengar was the only one that could potentially use it twice, or use it for his revenge shot to just solidify the kill against a 1hp squirelly target that hit him. It is weird, but then again its also 2 damage to yourself so....not sure why they bothered to stop that one.
