Visovics 1,675 Posted August 14, 2017 3 minutes ago, WigTii said: Here is where all of my posts from yesterday began with Vis's vote on me and my reply. I spent most of my time analyzing his motivations for that vote, and what I believe to be a possible scum plan placed in the open for all to see. I did the same type of analysis my last game with my famous "novel." And if you look at what I wrote, you will find that I did identify one of the scum present in that game. But it was too late. The town had already lynched its own and we lost. History seems to be repeating itself here. I'm debating whether I should claim. Doing so might have negative consequences for the town, and I certainly don't want that. But not doing so has its own risks. I'll decide as today evolves. In the meantime I must act on what I believe to be true. ##vote @Visovics Why do you insist on how consistent you are compared to your last game? It proves absolute nothing. You have one point of reference, it's not hard to simply look back at it and analyze and see exactly how you played, you can easily repeat it. Also, I don't think hiding in plain sight is a smart scum move, look at Cninja, he doesn't play in the open and he had the best scum run, why? Because he knows when to step in. He passes as a ghost in everybody's sight You spent most time analyzing my motives for a vote? In D1? With a great lack of general conversation? Also, I don't think my motives would be in plain sight at that time, which isn't that where the scum hides? Fun fact, I also used the history repeating itself argument to push a no-lynch D1 on my game as scum, and it worked, so I'm never falling for that. And it's better not to claim at the moment, it's better to do it when you are at L-2 You can call me a crow, you can call me scum, but I'm just here for the free folks of Coruscant, and I'll do my job whether you are with me or not
Norell 1,198 Posted August 14, 2017 After re-reading what we have so far... well we don't have too much to work with. Maybe because we don't have Gink to stir the pot for us Anyway, I can see only 4 people who can even be considered as possible scum. JJ with his instant claim COULD be a scum play but way too risky to pull that off on the very first post. I would take his word for now that he's town. Rocmistro's reaction seemed rather harsh at first but the more I read it the more innocent it seems. It took me for a while to realize the Alien reference. Again, definitely more townie than scum at the moment. That leaves Visovis and WigTii as main suspects, one being surprisingly offensive at the beginning and the other being even more surprisingly defensive about it. Madaghmire 7,274 Posted August 14, 2017 This game has been so quiet, I have legitimately no real idea where to go with my vote. For now its staying where it is if only as a Megamind Meme Prevention Device.
BrobaFett 4,209 Posted August 14, 2017 Is it quiet because of the long days? I feel like it's been about the same activity as normal games in the "intermediate" time after the first 12 hours and before the last 12 on a 48 hour day. That "Intermediate" time is now just super long. Maybe that is helpful on later days, but it sure makes day 1 painful.
Visovics 1,675 Posted August 14, 2017 Yeah, last game had more talk due to Pod's crazyness. 96 hours is long day 1. @CaribbeanNinja I'm assuming you had some time to watch and analyze events since your last post, any comments?

Yup just getting caught up while I'm eating some lunch. I agree with you and @BrobaFetton the "slowness" of the game. This has more to do with the fact that we have long days...more to come. Still worth looking at and I'm hoping we have a gunsmith that can clear him (who themselves would need to be cleared). Rocmistro- Quite aggressive WigTii- Quite defensive No real reads at the moment and definitely nothing worth changing votes over. And as usual, Pod is doing his best to make me want to hang him. 1 hour ago, TheToad said: Alright guys I'm caught up now. Right now Vis and Wig are at the top of my list... Vis is playing hard like usual but it feels a bit too sloppy, could be his gut... or him trying to start a train and get people looking away from him Wig took that vote (from Vis) very seriously, and got way too defensive. He's also been doing a lot of subtle influencing. I've never played with him so I don't know his style. When it comes down to it I stick to my golden rule...He who smealt it... Dealt it... im wary of people who start pointing fingers immediately and try to lead the discussion. I understand that without these initial "skirmishes" this game wouldn't work and that's what makes D1 so **** hard. My gut says that one of those two is scummy. I'm just not sure which one... Pod is of course always on my list... I think he likes being on everyone's list 1 hour ago, Norell said: After re-reading what we have so far... well we don't have too much to work with. It is very interesting that WigTii is on so many people's radars. I will agree that his play has been super defensive. I will also agree that he's made a huge mistake (IMO.) Other than that, I still see Day 1 problems. Not a lot of evidence. The same goes with Rocmistro. I'm pretty sure that he's noobing it up...except... [@GhostofNobodyInParticularis there day scum chat?] I could totally see a more experienced player guiding him. (Even telling him to ask about whether a no lynch is possible.) And @Rocmistroif you are town, never go for a no lynch D1. Vis and I have a strange D1 relationship. He usually votes for me (so I'm surprised that he hasn't yet). Crap! students incoming... No. Too many people considered it to give an OP advantage to scum. I considered it for that very reason (as that'd add some more chaos to the game), but the player number was too few. If we had gotten to 17 players (a crazy set-up, I assure you), then the scum would've had day chat.

BrobaFett 4,209 Posted August 14, 2017 I would like to hear from JJ as well again before we lynch. Right now his vote stands on Roc, which is a safe vote that is not helping or hurting his claim. I would like to see JJ circle back on that vote, and either explain it or place it thoughtfully somewhere else.
