stanmons 0 Posted February 8, 2010 Core set covers three mage colleges and three priest Cults with range of Rank 1 and 2 spells/blessings? This mainly limits the depth of a single college/cult as there's only a number of interesting Actions you want to pick up. Both of my group mages picked up the Actions they wanted in the character creation with no ambition to gain more. So.. when can we have more? What are you guys hoping for: depth or breadth? Any classic Rank 3+ spells / blessings from 2nd Edition that are missing? How about what college / cult are you missing the most? I'd personally like to see Cult of Ulric implemented as it is very close to viking mythology.
BCA 0 Posted February 8, 2010 I'm looking for for bredth at this point, depth is sorely missing also, but I'm very anxiously awaiting something new. My poor Dwarven student, really has absolutley nowhere to go once he finishes his profession. Yes, I could move on to scribe, or some other equally genaric, "Smarty pants" profession, but what I really want is to look at Rune Priest as an option. With 5 of the winds of magic ignored, and many of the religious orders mentioned as foot notes, right now I'm more worried about filling in the data missing from the setting, not getting additional info on the spotty data we already have. Both are badly needed....very badly, but if I have to chose one, give me more options.
nub5 2 Posted February 8, 2010 At the very miminum I am looking for: Completion on the remaining orders of magic on par with the core set Completion on the remaining religious cults on par with the core set Some Rank 3 spells, talents, careers for all orders and cults Rank 1, Rank 2 careeers (on par with the core set) for elves and dwarves magic/preist careers. It would be nice to get a complete set of Wizars / Priest careers up to whatever max Rank they have planned. Also if they added rules on how PC's can go the corrupted route and start using dark magic (Chaos / Necromancy).

Hehe I am currently creating the spells from tome of corruption and just did a few amethyst order spells... created a raise dead spell myself as well, that has some fun mechanics. stanmons 0 Posted February 9, 2010 I think FFG is business-savvy enough to have these expansions under way already. Could it be that WHFRP 3rd ed has not yet created big enough customer-base? It sold out the first print but.. Many of the Warhammer sites are still pretty much sticking to 1st or 2nd ed. But at the time supply and demand don't match very well as many of you are already making ports of 2nd edition books. I think they should release new cards every month similarly to Runebound / Warhammer Invastion / Cthuhlu - there's already a production line for this so what's the hold up?
