From the citation pages, it looks to be mainly graphic novels and from the official Star Wars websites before they were retconned and removed from their extended universe page as they were dumped into the "Legends" bin. But apparently gaming and videogaming are cited a lot, especially with regards to this passage:

Isn't Stele confirmed to be a character in squadrons? It will be cool to see him back in cannon. F s in chat for keyan farlander who not only failed to make the leap to second edition, but apparently is getting forgotten forever.

Barons, 34pt. I liked em. They were too dear, but by little enough that you could still do a thing. Inqs were a reasonable step up, when trying to fit into a thing.

Then Inqs came down way too far and were daft not to use instead. Kept meaning to put Barons in again but the points saved could never really improve things.

Now though.... hahahahaha, they're stupidly cheap. FFG is all over the place with this ship.

It's literally always been good. 

Edit. Now reminiscing about the dark times. When prevailing thought was that it was bad and GGI was just bad and all of it was bad.

He was just too dear compared to the others, who were all good. I could never understand why people didn't use them. Especially after playing against mine, going huh, how much? :D

You know, before they were cool. 8l

Opening round, when Rey uses force more defensively, she'll be at full force, and can't really use it.  Mid-fight, it'll be trading a damage for an evade, pretty much.  With the strength of her red dice mods, taking a deplete is essentially minus 1 damage, and the extra force isn't ever going to be better than +1 Evade.

Maybe that's worth it for the right player.  But that's the trade-off: one fewer damage given, one fewer taken.  I'll leave it to each player to decide if they like that trade-off, I personally don't.

The more I think about it on something like an Aethersprite, however, the stronger it feels.  You'll easily be able to go into a fight at range 3 with even a purple Evade action, then recover that force.  Protect your health at range, and wait until round 2 to start knife-fighting.  Jedi just gain that much more by spending force before the fight than someone like Rey would.

 

I was thinking more that Rey yolos or just continually Sloops to keep target in front arc which often costs actions and 2 force that can convert 1 blank and up to two focuses is probably better than 1 even at the cost of a dice? (citation needed and I'm lazy) or at very least offers the flexibility to allow her to be more consistently tanky as a potential late game piece.

dont forget the additional i5 pilot and 3 additional other pilots the rz2 is getting

the rz2 is a nightmare that max wont let us wake up from

I'm fine with 29 pt A's. The ship ability > TIE/V1 action bar and the blues are better (faster and more of them, like a proper interceptor).

What A's need are a way to crank dice counts outside missiles because they don't have force or Jendon. Crackshot can only carry you so far, unless you don't expect too much dps out of them. Maybe Tycho will come out with an ability that adds a result or a die for bullseye.

It does give flexibility, but not better damage, not really.  It's basically tied without a lock (a hair better or worse depending on range 1), with a Lock is a good deal more damage without deplete.
