I voted Truthiness because while mad and ghost did vote for me, that's all they did. Truthiness first gave his "advice" and while doing so named me as the prime candidate for lynching.

Up until the point where I said I was voting no lynch, ( had I known about the meta I would have just silently abstained) it was Truthiness that was under suspect. Now I'm suspect, Truthiness benefits from this.

It's like Lenin said, you look for the person who will benefit... And, uh... You know, you'll, uh... You know what I mean.

The only problem I have with that is Mads and GNIPs did actually vote for you for the exact same thing.

So either your a loyal bridge officer targeting Truth for no reason...

or a pirate protecting either Mads and/or GNips.

I think you can drop the 'and'. It would be ridiculously daring of scum without day chat to gang up on themselves.

You do have a point though, TheToad's arguments seem far fetched and thin enough that he doesn't seem to have a valid reason to single out Truthiness. I actually expected him to attack me or Mad, being the person who pointed out the scum-like nature of his post and the first person to vote him respectively. Picking out the third voter is rather random. I would also like to point out that he appears to have forgotten that he said he voted Truthi because he was the person who started pointing fingers. . .

Just got caught up now (got caught up IRL). I think that is Hammer though if I'm not mistaken? @Visovics

I'm mainly concerned by the number of follow votes that we have had, though the Toad has been suspicious. His hard stance on the matter of no lynching even after been told its the right play is suspicious, though I can't blame a newer player for questioning that logic off the bat. 

Depending on the outcome of this vote we can see who needs closer looking at.

Upon the in-depth inpection and discovering that the Admiral was smuggling ships to the pirates. Once you all assemble in the bridge, you notice a smell, the smell of death. Searching for the victim, you finally find the Engineering Officer with his throat slit under a command panel. With the Engineering officer dead, you all swear to find the person sabotaging this repair with a renewed hatred

CaribbeanNinja was the engineering officer Fik Saship, a  vanilla town

Very interesting. There were only three people that didn't vote for TheToad, and now one of them is dead. Cninja also happened to be the most active of the non-voters. Podracer and JJ contributed very little to the overall discussion. Granted it was day one, and once it reached a certain point TheToad had dug a truly inescapable grave for himself. To that point, I only jumped on the Toad bandwagon towards the end, too. However, JJ mentioned that he is busy except on nights, and I have no reason to believe that's false, so that makes me quite suspicious of PodRacer.

His first two during day 1 are really vague. If we are to take his claims of being a new player to be true, it seems like hanging back and not contributing much is a good play, on the face of it. I'm not sure what to make of his post just now.
