Well first to explain the gaps, I'm at work.

Earlier today many people were suspicious of truthiness, I suggested that we slow down and stop throwing baseless aqusations,I decided that I would vote for no lynch because I wanted it to be clear that I wasn't ready to vote for anybody.

Truthiness, and others but mainly truthiness, have been using my advocacy for the neutral stance to put all suspicion on me. 

This suspiscion is based on "evidence" that is nothing more than meta-gaming

So I guess I'm guilty of simply not remaining quiet rather than stating I wasn't ready to vote on anybody by voting no lynch

Ok, Toad, I can explain why the neutral stance is bad. It has been explicitly stated that the pirate scum get to murder someone at night.  So a no-vote means no one dies, and GUARANTEED an imperial officer dies at night, unless there is some form of protection.  If we lynch someone day one, then we get to look at WHO voted for them if they are officers or pirates and make some logical conclusions from there.  If we no vote we still have no baseline but are down one officer.  

We are more likely to lynch town than not, but that is still better for us since it gives us something to go off of.  You did say you were being careful with your vote, which is commendable, but then you sort of lashed out at Truthiness, who wasn't really accusing you outright, but was explaining why what you were doing was a bit suspect.

You may want a second opinion, but that's how I see it.

My day one methodology gets results...and also tends to get me killed by the Scum or the town. I will be holding the fact that I had the Scum pegged by day 2 last game over your collective heads forever. What was I saying? Oh right, I saw going to an incoherent strong of jokes and memes. This will also be very effective cover if you are scum...

Other than Toad's obvious issues (Caldias' play last game basically gives you little cover unfortunately) the above quote really troubles me...

Been travelling- sorry about the gap.

I'm thinking I'll hold back before jumping on the "lynch Toad" bandwagon. His arguments are getting more and more frantic as we go on...but that doesn't necessarily make him guilty.

That being said, he started accusing Truthiness of "smearing" without a lot of evidence. Unless he comes up with some good reasons to match Caldidas' case against him, that's where my vote is going.

Actually this is a common misconception after his efforts to popularize the extremely untasty "Garlic Delcious" Apple, a cross breed between a golden delicious and, well garlic. Johnny lived in a backward time and he thought all Doctors were Vampires, which is why they used all those leeches, and so he wanted to innoculate the populace against the undead scourge that had taken over the medical profession. So it wasn't so much that he hated good apples, its just he was a little crazy.

I did not know of that aspect of his life. I was referring to his method of planting and transportation, which was just to take seeds and plant them, then dig up the tree and give it to people. Since apple trees sprung from seeds can be nothing at all like the parent, the only way to consistently get good apples is grafting and careful care of the original tree. He didn't do that (dunno if it was invented yet though. . .) and so the apples he passed around, even if from seeds of great, amazing apples, were terrible.
