Things I am (90%) sure they will be doing:
Android - Cyberpunk
Rokugan (LOT5R) - Alternate fantasy (although this would very much be its own thing)
Runebound - Kitchen Sink fantasy
Generic Steampunk Sourcebook
Generic Weird War Sourcebook

I could see them doing Generic sourcebooks for all 5 of the settings they mention in the product description and they may in fact come out before any named settings.

Things they may be doing, but not right away:
Twilight Imperium - Space opera
Arkham Horror - Horror
Dust - Weird War/Alternate History

Things that are unlikely, but would be cool:
Dragonstar - Fantasy/Space Opera
Game of Thrones - Fantasy (I don't think they have the licenese to make an RPG with this IP)

Personally I am just looking forward to an Android game, it is something I have been wanting for this system ever since I first played Edge of The Empire. And I am almost as hyped for a possible Twilight Imperium game too. These two are the worlds and genres I have been wanting a good rpg for, for the longest time. I have tried a bunch of different systems and games and none of them really fit what I wanted. While I can appreciate Star Wars, it is not the type of space opera I want, so even if i got some of the books it always felt somewhat unsatisfactory to play because of the setting. And as for Cyberpunk, I backed the Interface Zero kickstarter, but I didn't really care for its approach to cyberpunk. Like do I really need a big rules section on mechs, battlesuits, 4 types of psychic powers as well as genemodded human/animal hybrids, biological cyborgs (flesh and bone with computer mind) and regular cyborgs (metal and chrome with flesh mind)? Sure it sounds cool, but the identity of the setting got lost in all the systems and concepts it introduced. Also it was horribly unbalanced, to the point of almost being unfinished, with the GM having to fill in the blanks. It ran on Savage Worlds and the system couldn't really handle all the things the game tried to do.

XCOM would be a really cool setting too, FFG has some sort of license, so it may be a possiblity. I just don't know how you would do it justice. Do you play the soldies going on missions? Or the management back on the base? Or both, but how would that work? What makes the XCOM games special is the interplay between the strategic gameplay on the base and the tactical game in the field, so an RPG would need to capture that somehow. If you would just be playing one of the other, the game would lose some of what makes XCOM what it is.

I'd like to see  Elder Scrolls. Hell, if FFG get the licence to do an Elder Scrolls sourcebook, I know a dozen people who'd buy Genesys purely for that one reason. They'd see it as FFG's permission to print money.

XCOM would be an interesting one if done right. I imagine that the strategic level would make it awkward to implement the setting for an RPG, but it could be doable if somebody puts clever brains to it.

Android... I haven't had any exposure to Android, but it is something that I'm interested in.

Final Fantasy. Because why not, it was a staple of my youth, so gimme for the nostalgia value :-P

Earthdawn. I ran 1st ed. and love the world, but now that I'm old and crotchety I don't have the patience for that level of crunch  The current storyline on my EotE game is winding down... when it's done I'll have the time to start laying some groundwork in prep for the GENESYS release. The thought of running a Barsaive game using the narrative dice system fills me with glee.

...ironic; one of my playtesters wants to use Genesys to run our current Earthdawn game. We're finding the 4th edition system rather...slow...

In general I am usually more interested in running my own worlds/universes when it comes to RPGs, but 2 setting I would really like to role-play in are

Twilight Imperium (seems reasonably likely)

Shadows of Brimstone (different company's game, so never an official product for genesys)

What immediately has me most intrigued is the enormous potential this dice mechanic has for magic systems. The possibilities that threat and advantage open up are amazing.

Amen, though as GM I think the thing I'd most look forward to in a ED/Genesys hybrid would be NPC creation. In 1st ed. ED, making an Adept opponent was really, really  unpleasant. I imagine Genesys will maintain the same ease and flexibility as the SW system.

Kirk vs Liara... oh god. :)

Well, actually...

I'm working on a campaign idea called Mass Effect: The Next Generation. Just the Mass Effect universe, no Trek. But what TNG was to TOS, this would be to Mass Effect. Set one hundred years in the future, slightly more civil and less face-punchy, etc.

I'm new, and it posted, back on page three, so people might have missed it. But I've got three I'm really excited about.

1) What with skull and bones coming out soon, a pirate game. Does anyone know if Seventh Sea IP came with L5R over to FFG?

2) An Xfiles rip that I did, basically goes from Xfiles to Xcom in timeline. Start off with the question, are we being visited by aliens. Then... once that answer is resolved... Why are we being visited. We called them the Gene-Thieves... And then you go on to the full war, Xcom inspired.

and

3) I've also got a space game, Originally from way back in the day. Called Ovation Voyager (for those who know the guitar, yes, we were all in a band together, and loved that guitar). The solar system is explored, and Mars is terraformed. So, this ship is created with FTL drives, And the crew explores space. There is also a group of Psychics, Kinda jedi-ish, but they form psi-swords, the greater the sword, the higher the rank. You have Rapiers, Longswords, Claymores, and I forget what I named them, but effectively Anime style (how can someone legitimately hold that thing?!?!?!?). It's a religion, so you can hold any rank or job and be one.  One division of the on board marines were mostly cyborg, with replacement backs and legs... They would strap into cored-out massive Cannon bullets, and be fired into enemy ships... hence why they had all the work done, to displace some of the shock of going through a ship hull (and shielding, if any were there...).

No, John Wick owns the rights, and released a second edition 7th Sea RPG last year & more books this year.

I would like to see usable content for a Dieselpunk/Crimson Skies setting. I'll pay close attention to Genesys's steampunk and Weird War settings. EoE's vehicular combat rules were not well suited for for aircraft dogfight.

It's a shame that the licence holders are letting this very original franchise gather dust.

Rune bound source book. There is a Dust RPG and a twilight imperium one as well already out there but they could do with an update. I would like to see the Kate Daniels world as a rpg.

There was something called a twilight imperium RPG like 20 years ago during the first edition of the game. I think it had 2 books and it absolutely blew.

The franchise is very different now.

I know I have the books somewhere I was just pointing out that making a twilight imperium game is not outside the realm of posablity

I'm wanting to make a game set in The Vagrant trilogy setting. A post apocalyptic world with demons fighting humanity and each other, silent gods who do nothing because they are too dang angsty, a mixture of grim-dark with tiny little bits of light and happiness that seem to shine through. My husband is interested in running it as well, I just have to find people who have actually read the books and want to play in that setting.

Even if I don't play it, it will be fun to bring to life all sorts of settings and worlds that will never get their own game.

I have my own steampunk setting that I'm looking forward to using. Granted, if they put out a steampunk setting book, I'll likely just draw elements from it, too, but running Aethermere's citystates, political intrigue, mechawars, sky pirates, and Pneumatic Guard sound like a lot of fun to me.

after looking over and pondering over to do a mesh of Dawnforge and Dragonstar . I have decided to stay with Dragonstar as I realized that they introduced the schools in that book and do remember in their Path series of books they had schools in them as well. The schools could be another group of talents characters could invest in with points as well. This is why I think they should stay right now with their own IP until they get this system on its own feet before investing in others properties.

Where as Dawnforge could be a Race Supplement that would introduce additional Racial Talents for the Races to the universe, So you see to me they do have quite a bit of interesting things they just need clean the cobwebs off the old properties and rework them into the system. This Generic System has alot of potential if they would just work with what they have already and they would not need permission to use any of it since it is their property. Plus their Midnight setting was a big seller and could be again with the Generic system again, I know people have been talking about it for some time now.

My biggest question is how FFG plan to modify the Species/Career/Specialisation system to be both generic and easy to fit into all the Themes. Once they answer that question it will become much easier to begin our own creations.

I don't expect a huge shift in core mechanics so the basics are easy. Skills could get a little condensed with the intention that Themes add custom skills. Otherwise the skills will just be renamed between Themes. But generally with more information my own concepts will advance.

After looking at the Legends and Lairs Book Sorcery and Steam, I do think someone has already ported it mostly over to the GENESYS as I was reading it coming to find out he has done a pretty good job, it is in the Edge forums under Sky Wars Edge of an Empire I think and minus the Force Die has a good system using Sorcery and Steam Recommend reading the book should have a Final Pdf within the year, going through Beta Testing right now if you are interested. The Ships are Sky ships which was quite cool and used mostly everything from Star wars in a Fantasy setting with Steam or Magic technology. Great Read recommend downloading and giving your 2 sense.
