mwmcintyre 271 Posted June 10, 2017 If I spring for it, I think I'm going to go with the Evade option. I'm playing Daisy and my friend is playing Jenny to back me up and shield me. The Evade would expand my options quite a bit. 1 shosuko reacted to this

shosuko 2,174 Posted June 16, 2017 I don't think I'd count that because that is in a different game session, and can be done any time you're ahead and would Drawn to the Flame or something else anyway.
Slothgodfather 270 Posted June 16, 2017 We just did Where Doom Awaits last night and I was able to use the Acid to put 3 dmg on the boss and to kill 2 different 3 HP monsters. Encyclopedia and a few cards added each time got me ahead enough Daisy was able to successfully toss acid in all their faces. It was fantastic. That said, I feel each of them is very circumstantial for what you will need so each will be great in the right situation, but in my current party (Ashcan, Jenny, Daisy and Jim) I felt the combat option was the best. I do think you can ask if the extra prerequisite is worth the effort for the cost - the Solutions are solidly better than other Level 4 counterparts, are they better enough to make it worth the setup? I think the Acidic vs. Springfield comparison is the clearest, and pretty obviously says yes.
