what the **** i come down here once a week or so just to check if they FINALY did something about these crappy boards

 

omg this is taking forever where it should be somthing that is done in a day

 

FFG realy has lost alot of merit in my eye's   they used to be my number 1 in board games but this realy has shot you all down to second place

Not sure what your standards are but I really like the new boards and I know that alot of people here are excited about it to.

Maybe it´s your connection or pc that´s the problem. In any case I haven´t had any problems

They're faster for me, but I still pretty much just pretend I'm on Dial-up when ever I'm browsing. It's not so bad if you're watching a movie/tv while you browse.... Still taking from 10-30 seconds far more often then is cool. Most of the time it's more on the 10 second end of the range. Yeah fast servers. Boo sloggy code. As much as I'd like, I doubt we'll get much faster.

Very strange, since for me and all the folks I've talked with, it's much, much faster now than ever before. Sure there are a couple of faster forums, and an occasional slight delay in loading, but there's nothing significantly wrong that I can spot with speed.

Only thing I can suggest is that since this forum seems to have a larger Java element than many, perhaps you need to update or repair your Java installation? Not at all sure that will make any difference, but if all other forums are fast there doesn't sound to be any connection, processor, firewall or antivirus program holding you up.

Other than that, I'm baffled - but hope you get it sorted out soon!

I think we have hit a point now where the major influence on the speed people are seeing is their machine specs.

 You might want to give Google Chrome a try - it seems to load these pages WAAAY faster than Firefox, though YMMV.
