KrisSherriff 853 Posted May 19, 2017 This is something that I have always avoided doing as it never really came up but a new player in our group is looking at doing a droid uprising list and asked the question. For Named Character command cards they have a faction symbol on them. So for example a Guidion who is temporary alliance'ed in to Mercs could not take his command card because it is a rebel card and Temp Alliance only says you may take deployment cards? Thoughts, Precidants and opinions please Kris
theChony 151 Posted May 19, 2017 Your example isn't true. You can have any command card you want. The restriction comes in when you play it. Gideon's faction symbol may be unecessary, but I've observed it in [imperial] force user, for example. 1 a1bert reacted to this
a1bert 4,115 Posted May 19, 2017 The restriction box tells which figure it can be played on. The restriction only applies to the figure, the faction is not relevant. Many Command cards have a restriction box listed above the ability. These cards must be played on a single friendly figure that matches the restrictions listed (often a trait or figure name). Mep 2,291 Posted May 28, 2017 So Son of Skywalker can be in the Command Deck of a scum list with Temporary Alliance and Luke Skywalker but an Imperial List with Temporary Alliance cannot use the skirmish upgrade Focused on the Kill for IG-88 but could contain the command card Blaze of Glory. This is correct yes?
