Erisch 7 Posted May 6, 2017 Hi. Just a few images of my take of a rich, opulent Daqan Army Barony. 5 SwagonBallZ, Doodlebug, Xargonaut and 2 others reacted to this

eilif 135 Posted May 7, 2017 Very cool. I'm not sold on the silver golem, but the rest are really impressive.
Mep 2,291 Posted May 7, 2017 Gunmetal for a golem might be interesting to explore. That snow looks like it would create quite the mess.

Yeah the golem ... is different ... lol. 7 hours ago, Mep said: Gunmetal for a golem might be interesting to explore. That snow looks like it would create quite the mess. Yes. Luckily after a few games and the amount of glue used, most of the loose snow is now gone.
Torpid Rebel 48 Posted May 8, 2017 I really like the idea of a silver golem! But it looks a touch flat. Have you considered giving it a wash of brown ink, and then a very heavy dry brush of the base colour again, then a light drybrush of a highlight? That might make it really pop. Interesting concept! 1 Erisch reacted to this
Vineheart01 6,403 Posted May 8, 2017 i think the golem needs some dark contrast, gunmetal might be a good one. Or the Armypainter metal with a dab of black. Right now its undersides and crevices shine as bright as its edges. And on such a large model thats...weird
