What if they revamped the number of attack dice?

Over 90% of X-wing ships have 2 or 3 attack attributes. This makes it hard to differentiate firepower of ships. Should a B-wing, X-wing, attack shuttle, E-wing, U-wing, Falcon all have the same firepower? Probably not. 

The agility of ships seems to be in a better spot because they can differentiate so much by using 0,1,2,3 agility.

This really limits the design space. There really should be some 2.5 attack values in there somewhere.

What if they introduced a half dice? (1 hit, 1 crit, 1 focus, 5 blanks)

What if they revamped the number of attack/agility dice. For instance: Z-95 2 Attack, Shuttle 3 attack, X wing 4 attack, U wing 4 attack, falcon 5 attack, VCX 6 attack (obviously this would require a lot of balancing in other areas)

More dice, more fun! More dice, more differentiation! More dice, more design space!

I guess this would be my recommendation for all those x-wing 2.0 threads.
