Imperial Cargo Shuttle WIP

The Zeta-Class Shuttle has always stood out to me as a cool ship. I wanted to make one for mission, HotAC, and casual play purposes.

If you don't want another shuttle and you are one of those "not another shuttle people", go complain somewhere else.

I think this is the statline (remember, WIP):

Attack: 3

Agility: 0

Hull: 9

Shield: 5

Upgrade Bar: Systems, Cannon, Crew.

New Cards:

Flappy wing Title Dual card: One side increases your agility by one the other lets you perform stop maneuvers while stressed.

Cargo Transport: Modification. Your upgrade bar gains 1 or 2 cargo icons. You may only equip cargo upgrades with the Large Ship only restriction. You may equip an additional Modification upgrade that costs 3 squad points or less.

External Cargo Rack: Modification. When you are dealt a Damage card, you may discard one of your Cargo Upgrades to discard that Damage card (without resolving its effect).

Passenger Hold: Cargo. Large Ship only. Your upgrade bar gains the Crew icon. You may not equip Crew Upgrade cards that cost more than 5 squad points.

Maneuver Dial: cross between the Upsilon and the Lambda, with no or red turns.

Any suggestions?

Considering the recent yoinking of epic actions on smaller ships, why not just remove the cannon slot and add two cargo slots?   There is no need for a title or modification for that, as the ship having native cargo slots would differentiate from other shuttles.

Green two straight as the only green, all other moves like the lambda.  This thing is big, slow and clumsy.

Ha. Just made a post about this ship in my local Facebook group . My suggestions for this ship would be the possibility to drop debries fields and cargo tokens (the ones comming with the C-roc) Maybe have a white 0 stop or the ability to fly backwards like the Quadjumper. Maybe have the Reinforce action. The ships smaller than the Ghost, so it could be considered for X-wing, and I would love to have a space turtle model.

No for one big reason: Overcharged Power Cells.

Don't care, there's no way this winged brick needs to equip ion cannons or tractor beams, much less have a full 4 dice at range 2-3.  The Lambda gets it cause it's got 8 barrels pointed straight forward.  

 

And we see it land.  And blow up.  That's it.  It's a transport, you can load it up with cargo slots and crew slots if you want but it's not really needed, especially when it's gonna be in a 40 dollar box.

We saw it shoot the crap out of some Stormtroopers too! It has just as many guns as a Lambda. It would need to be pretty heavily armed since the Empire's starfighters can't follow through hyperspace to act as an escort. If it was attacked before or after a jump to a remote system, it would have to be able to defend itself.

It's basically a Sentinel Landing Craft with two extra foldy wings instead of the dorsal fin.  But without any warheads.  I'm sure the guns scare away anything it's pointed at, but once something gets behind it, that's it.

It's possibly the first ship which really stands out as one to get as a 3D print or conversion job : (I've personally already got a senators shuttle and a theta class but the point stands)

With its size it's unlikely to be mad as an official. 

Its distinctly more of a moving objective than a combat vessel. 

It's the sort of thing you don't mind having a few off of an official does com out a long way down the line... Always room for a space convoy as obstacles.

@AwesomeJedi what if the shuttle, when equipping a Cannon, it disallows use of your primary weapon. The cannon must have a squad point value of at least 2 to a maximum of 4 points. This makes it so you can't use Tractor beams, Arc caster, Autoblaster and Heavy laser cannons.

I do want the Zeta class shuttle, but I also want this big guy for epic... I want to blow it up! lol. Do we have a name for this thing?   Found out through the Zeta Class Shuttle Link, it is called the Eta Class Supply Barge

Also, why is there a such a small limit for uploading pictures? I had to delete a picture from another thread in order to upload this picture, and I had to shrink its pixel size...

So, for exacty ONE attack the ship would roll two extra dice.  Supercharged Powercells is a limited and discardable.  Not an issue.

Love the creativity and I support it all the way!! But, um, yet another Inperial ship that cannot turn around....great idea (dripping sarcasm)

All that work and it's the wrong shuttle. The actual cargo shuttle is 

Notice there are only 4 wings, not 8, as well as the smaller size of the cargo container in relation to the size of the ship.

J/k!  I would love a real Rogue One expansion, but I just don't see it happening.  And if it did it's more than likely to outshine the Lambda in some way.

I know it's not as good as a nice painting/drawing of a ship, but I made some cards on Strange Eons and used screenshots that I literally took with my phone of a paused Blueray in a dark room. They turned out ok. I was also thinking about taking another picture of my screen and then running it through one of those apps that makes it looks like a drawing. It might work. Or it might not. But it is worth a try.
