Kaaihn 137 Posted April 20, 2017 (edited) How commonly have you seen in a Delve where the first peril is just straight up "the heroes lose"? Was in stage 3 last night, Skarn was the boss. Got the warning that perils would start next turn. Next turn, the first peril of the stage comes up, it's "The heroes lose!" I didn't even know that was a possible peril. Really changes the strategy in a Delve, no more anticipating surviving a peril or two, now we have to plan to exit by the turn the warning pops because survival beyond it may not be possible even if everyone is at full health. I'm wondering if that's standard in stage 3 only of a Delve, or only happens in specific delve maps, etc. Any predictability to when this can happen that anyone has seen? Edit: Nevermind, just hadn't played Delves enough to realize that all peril effects are always "lose 1 morale". There is never any variety like in the campaigns. We were already at our morale limit, so instead of the usual "lose 1 morale" it just went straight to saying "heroes lose". Makes total sense now.
