So what does the forum think?  Product will actually be available on Star Wars day (May 4th) or just a small smathering as we've seen for Awakening? 

I personally don't think FFG would make the same mistake twice.  I expect to see a good volume of product for the launch of SoR.

Available. They sorted out production issues and should have boxes for all. Good luck with your pulls!

Realistically, I think this is the latest we could have seen it - if you can't manage to launch your Star Wars product on May the 4th, you've ****ed up. It's still nice to have confirmation, because you never know with FFG.

they're going to be shipping the product in 3 waves. so we'll see how much wave 1 will have and going forward. Supposedly they're supposed to have enough between each wave everyone will be happy. so they say.

It's hard to get a pre-order with anyone.

Distributors are telling retailers they don't have any more available already.  My FLGS placed a pre-order for a box of SoR a week ago, and the distributor told them they could promise them 2 boxes and THAT'S IT.  So make of that what you will.

Par for the course, and hardly surprising. To FFG's credit, they've lowered my expectations so far that it's hard to not meet them.

I think though this is on the store, they left their order far too late.

Mind you to be promised two boxes when you only asked for one, seems to me the store has the opportunity to get more than it wants.

Yeah that's the store's fault for waiting so long to pre-order, same thing that happened with stores not getting Awakenings, they tried to jump on the bandwagon too late. 

Tell that store to get in on the next wave. We don't now how far apart the waves will be but there will be more SoR after the initial release.

this again... stores should not have to preorder to get product esp in the early stages of release. FFG  is the only company that has this problem so there doing something wrong. (if the above info is true )

Uh...How do you think a business orders stock? Any order a business does before the release date is a 'pre order'.

My LGS told me SoR is a one and done print run, did FFG say they were doin multiple waves? if so where I would like to know as the stores near me still have extras boxes to pre-order and I wanted to wait but ifs it a one and done I may get another box or 2.

@Drunkensith: At GAMA FFG announced they would be releasing SoR in waves, but once they had the print runs done there would be no more.

Sounds like someone is going to be opening and selling on ebay. I heard some people saying that they only got one box for the pre-release. If they got any they got all 3 boxes so what happened to the other 2? Sounds like some shady dealings going on.
