Grand Admiral Thrawn was confirmed aaaages ago by FFG for Red Villain in Set 3. Hopefully that's still on.

I hope Yoda is some monster 20/25 14 health card that can go toe-to-toe with ePalpatine. That'd be fun.

I really hope Yoda is more of a support character like he was in the original films. From his training lessons on Dagobah, there should have been no reason for him to carry and attack with a lightsaber.

Yoda is a great candidate for multiple versions (though not in the same set).  The Original Trilogy version would likely be a support character, whereas the Prequel/Clone Wars version would be the "great warrior" Luke had heard about.

I hope yoda is less then 21/28 he lost to the emperor 1 on 1 

I'd love to see his ability allowing you to resolve any number of dice attached to him after he is actvated

Methinks Thrawn will come with a bunch of characters from Rebels--Maybe Ezra, Kanan and Maul will be there. Also hoping Jedi Holocron drops alongside Ezra. A guy can dream right?

If it is the rebels set, and it probably will be, I would expect more Rebels characters than just thrawn. Kanan, Hera, Ezra, Sabine, Kallus, Tua, grand inquisitor ... be interesting if they can fit them all in.

If they don't do all of rogue one in one set, which we know that they are not doing, I don't see them putting all of the Rebel characters  in one set.

I'm sure that they'll be a strong emphasis on EP VIII to coincide with the release. Rebels will probably hit after that for the season 4 finale and hopefully conclusion of the show, They'll have run out of years before Rogue One by then, plus they started developing a new animated show last year. I expect season 4 to conclude Rebels. Viewership is around .50 compared to The Clone Wars 4.00 average. It is mostly a toy and merchandize money maker for now and is at the end of its lifespan.

Pretty sure it wouldn't have a strong EP8 since the 3rd set comes out months before the movie. The new core set however, will I am pretty sure that will have a strong EP8 presence as it comes out with the movie.

The real problem with rebels viewership is it is on XD not cartoon network. Not everyone gets XD as it costs more. So the real question is, how many people picked up XD just for Rebels, not how many people are watching. Also, if they don't have XD, are they buying the episodes? They have other ways to make money, like merchandising of course. I am not sure they have to stop at 5 years when ANH begins. It will of course, end at some point.

I would like to point out that Rebels is huge in the main fandom. Not everyone watches it but they know the characters.  Not to mention there are a lot of people who are watching through non-legal means that can't be tracked.

 

I would also also like to point out that it has been home to some of the best Star Wars story not only since the buy out, but in general. To call it as a way to sell toys.....well, welcome to modern day fiction where like 98% of things that are part of a franchise are meant to drive profit through other means. 

Not everyone likes Rebels and that's fine, but it is not this piece of Star Wars that isn't important or influential. Rebels is coming and I for one am very excited.

star wars rebels is an awesome show and it don't necessarily have to end at 4, just because luke skywalker story starts there don't mean the rebels just disappear.

For me, there is no galaxy were Luke co-exists with Ezra and Kananan.  So I think it has to come to a tragic end, or Rebels dabbles in sacrilege for me.

how so? luke is just one story the universe is a big place and the rebels a big group. The rebels were not sitting and doing nothing while luke was fighting the empire.

Shoehorning 2 more jedi into the 4-6 era for the sake of a cartoon is just... wrong.
