Selfless EPT

I think there is enough of this card visible to determine most of what it does. I'm pretty positive it reads something like this.

Unique. Small ship only "When a friendly ship at range ?(probably 1) is hit by an attack, you may discard this card to suffer any uncanceled damage instead of the defender."

Can't see the point cost. If this is what it does how many points do you think it's worth and what do you think about it?

Short answer is probably 1 or even 0 as you need to make a direct comparison to Draw Their Fire.

Discards instead of sticks around so it should be cheaper.  Perhaps even a lot cheaper.

Is that uncancelled dice, hits, crits, or something else?  DtF is just a crit so if this can draw any amount of anything it is a significant upgrade even if it leads to the rapid demise of the ship it is on.  The thing is DtF can draw the crits all night while this would be a one and done so it may need to soak more to use.

If it works as described it may make for some nasty little bodyguard ships especially if you can find an EPT slot for cheap.  If you BSP could take a hit/crit/crit from another ship it could easily be worth 15 points assuming it did anything else and/or the ship protected is that important.

Oh god, someone could take a cheap tie or z95 with EPT and it would be another way to take damage away from biggs if someone hits him hard.

Biggs with 3 regen aces would be a little absurd. The discard clause may or may not be there. If it is there Sabine's TIE is where I'll put it, just as health for Biggs.

Another Biggs upgrade. Uses the EPT slot, though, so even at 1pt it has competition... But it's another Biggs upgrade. :-\

I forgot to mention but it's a good possibility that it is the first Rebel only EPT. As for the rest I am 95% sure it is correct. It for sure has the discard clause.

It doesn't look like there is enough room for the card to say "Small Ship Only. Rebels Only".
