Showcase: TIE Advanced x1

Recommended Posts

Greetings, Everyone!

Still working our way down the list, so it's time for another Showcase thread.  This week, we will be looking at one of the most iconic ships from the first Star Wars movie, the pimped out ride of Lord Vader himself:  The TIE Advanced x1.

Don't forget to switch on your Advanced Targeting Computers!

Personal note:  Mine's still fresh from the factory...Guess I need to remedy that before the end of the week!

Thanks, Barry!  Your comments are always very encouraging, especially coming from someone as talented as yourself.

I like your hot-rodded Advance.  It definitely looks like someone's custom ride!

Well no Disco lights here !

Just another Conversion........Hot Rod for Vader.

All the Best,

Now THAT is an Advanced TIE! Vader's ride always felt like it needed some more aggressive lines, and what's more aggressive than pointy triangles? Great mod Barry!

As dark as the Sith lord himself.

Yeah, I thought the black on black looked good and sinister for Darth.

I definitely need to set myself up with a better lighting environment for pictures though. I'll have to try out one of the light boxes from the tutorials or something.
