Alchemical Problems IC RPG thread

Irina looks tired but otherwise motions one of the armed Villagers to keep watch while the rest sleep

"There's these old ruins about a days travel north... past a nest of fangmaws... Some ugly looking spikey guy lives there... claims to be a Jedi or something... he's kind and helpful... but he refuses to leave that place...."

Sar says that he won't invade minds of those who've suffered so much...the strain could be quite draining on them... also he's been connected to you guys he needs to rest ....

Ok, Irina and the others can get sleep.  Yorik will take first watch with Worra while Shard repairs his arm asap.  If something happens he can control the guns from inside the Hind.

Yorik will do what he can do to put defensive barriers on the roadway to force any invading Rakghouls into a limited pathway along the road to the landing port.

"This will make a nice killzone so we can more easily mow down any incoming hostiles and we can see them coming in advance. "

"Worra, after you secure Zenith in our holding cell do you want to go and check out the humanoid under the Village?  I think we should investigate to make sure he's not setting up explosives in retaliation for us blowing up the Hutt's palace. Shard, if you repair your arm in time do you want to go with us? "

Well I need parts... Any dead droids around?

Not really.. Droids were a premium item this far out. You might be able to scavenge the Local med bay on a Savaging check?

Durrak will take some extra clips. Otherwise he keeping a look out for trouble. He is kind of disturbed at the mention of a Jedi nearby.

People Think its a "Jedi" and he himself calls himself one but possibly it might be something else.....

5 clips, 2 stun grenades, and a Painting worth 8000 creds

Excellent.  Yorik will take 3 clips and a grenade and make sure to put the painting into the Hind's upper room.

"Perhaps we'll pay the Jedi a visit tomorrow after we finish clearing out the Rakghouls, eh?"

Yup! Let's try and sleep with a wacky  jedi, sith monsters, and creep voice on the loose... Yea Aye... Your gonna post watch... Give us the bird's eye for the night.

The little droid wrrrr's up into the sky following the group to the Hind. It observes that a lunar halo is quite pronounced tonight, mild windspeed at 5 mph and a temperature of 64 degrees.

Worra's droids are set to perpetually scan the area for activity. They are sending visual scans to the Hind's main computer, and have an alarm triggered if the detect any activity.

Finding the holding cell on the Golden Hind didn't take long. "These are your quarters, until we are able to transfer you to the authorities," Worra explained to his captive. "I don't intend to make your stay pleasant, but you will be treated with dignity and respect. I doubt you shared the same decency to the slaves that you thrust into Gonothar's slave pits to be devoured by the Hutt's foul mal-creations." Worra ensured that the holding cell met reasonable galactic standards before following Yorik to watch duty. These Hutt ships can have shockfields or just general filth that would be totally unacceptable per the standards laid out in the Ruusan Accords, which had guided the treatment of prisoners for the past thousand years.

Worra found Yorik waiting for him at the rear bay of the Golden Hind. Upon seeing Worra return, Yorik pressed the ignition to lower the ramp. "Lead on, Yorik," said Worra. "Whoever is below the village is risking their own life and ours."

@April What is the difficulty for a lore check to know info about the potential Sith Temple on New Taris? I'm from New Taris (boost?) and have an insiders guide on my datapad (Free advantage?).

the cell actually seems to be well furnished and goes beyond galactic standards. it has most amenities, with an automated food unit .

As you have been here a while, you are aware of the hermit, the ruins predate Taris planet city status. But  while the villagers, and he believe hes a Jedi, you felt no force beyond the newcomers, and the  crazy guy who started this madness .

Its probably a crazy old man in a library or something.

It's not documented on the guide, the ruins rose to the surface somehow.  You can have an underworld check? with 4 purples?
