Wolfren696 7 Posted March 5, 2017 Can I stack up or saved my advantage symbols to use them for a later turn? Example; to perform a critical hit with a gun or light saber. This is not clear to me. Thank you
awayputurwpn 7,720 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) No saving Advantage use it on the action you rolled it for. That is how things generally work. Of course, the GM is free to make odd calls regarding stuff like this. One social encounter, for example, I saved up all the Advantage/Threat rolled and set it aside to narrate the outcome of the encounter. (But I don't normally do that) Edited March 5, 2017 by awayputurwpn 2 Wolfren696 and Absol197 reacted to this

Garran 485 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) Several existing options already have equivalent effects to what you've be able to do with saved-up advantage, and effects that require a lot of advantage (or threat) aren't meant to be reliable (unless you have a far better dice pool than the opposition, in which case you've earned it). When you get down to it, the basic 'grant a Boost/Setback' options are effectively a way to carry over the symbols with some built-in unpredictability. Still, actual carryover of the symbols would make those higher-cost effects more accessible than intended, and thus probably isn't a good idea.
