In this case the shuttle uses advanced sensors to pick when to take its action and uses the experimental interface to proc uses of Fleet Officer or Kylo Ren. Then the Omega TIEs can still use the target locks from the Synchronizer and be coordinated as needed; the TIEs have the same EPT/Tech as before but also add Stealh Device to increase their survivability. OMEGA WING V2 99 points PILOTS Lieutenant Dormitz (47) Upsilon-class Shuttle (31), Advanced Sensors (3), Fleet Officer (3), Kylo Ren (3), Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1), Targeting Synchronizer (3), Experimental Interface (3) “Omega Leader” (26) TIE/fo Fighter (21), Pattern Analyzer (2), A Score to Settle (0), Stealth Device (3) “Omega Ace” (26) TIE/fo Fighter (20), Pattern Analyzer (2), Cool Hand (1), Stealth Device (3) I really hope they release a FAQ on Targeting Synchronizer soon. BlodVargarna 4,041 Posted February 9, 2017 Thanks everyone for so many awesome suggestions. My usual X-wing game has been bumped in favor of dominion tonight, but I'll try out one of these lists soon!
Burius1981 566 Posted February 9, 2017 I have two lists that I want to try out: Major Stridan: FCS, Kylo Ren, Systems Officer, Pattern Analyzer Pure Sabacc: VI, title, LF Tomax Bren: CS, LF, Homing Missiles, Ex Mun Stridan can had out Target Locks and use Coordinate on whom ever needs it. I'm not 100% sold on this yet though, I want to develop a decent four ship list. and Major Stridan: FCS, Kylo Ren, Systems Officer, Pattern Analyzer Zeta Leader: Wired, Pattern Analyzer Mauler: CS Scourge: CS Same Stridan, different partners. Zeta, Mauler, and Scourge all being 7s and all having ways to add dice should make for some reasonable punch if they live very long.
Raven19528 158 Posted February 9, 2017 Thought about throwing this down as a fun "all 4s" list with ridiculous movement shenanigans (coordinate barrel rolls before the moves = lolz) Starkiller Base Pilot — Upsilon-class Shuttle 30 Collision Detector 0 Emperor Palpatine 8 Ship Total: 38 "Pure Sabacc" — TIE Striker 22 Veteran Instincts 1 Lightweight Frame 2 Adaptive Ailerons 0 Ship Total: 25 "Echo" — TIE Phantom 30 Veteran Instincts 1 Fire-Control System 2 Advanced Cloaking Device 4 Ship Total: 37 Phantom movement and Striker movement in the same list, plus coordinate to add another layer to that just makes for some great fun. Opponents tend to give up trying to figure out where I might end up with either pilot, as the possibilities are ridiculous.
Funkula 36 Posted February 9, 2017 Here's two similar lists, one of which I'll be testing at casual play tonight: Batwing Blitz (100) Lieutenant Dormitz (41) - Upsilon-class Shuttle Fire Control System (2), Systems Officer (2), General Hux (5), Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) "Epsilon Leader" (20) - TIE/FO Fighter Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) Epsilon Squadron Pilot (16) - TIE/FO Fighter Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) "Omega Leader" (23) - TIE/FO Fighter Juke (2) Batwing Blitz- Copy (98) Lieutenant Dormitz (40) - Upsilon-class Shuttle Electronic Baffle (1), Systems Officer (2), General Hux (5), Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) Epsilon Squadron Pilot (16) - TIE/FO Fighter Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) Epsilon Squadron Pilot (16) - TIE/FO Fighter Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) "Omega Leader" (26) - TIE/FO Fighter Juke (2), Comm Relay (3) The idea is to make your main deployment after your opponent has committed a significant chunk of their force. If you can deploy at 6 that's ideal because then OL can be forward deployed, but being able to charge an ace with two tokened-up fighters turn one isn't a bad outcome either. The only difference is whether I go for more action economy on the shuttle or OL. 1 Parakitor reacted to this
