Sort of. I mean, the odds of you getting two critical damage through on Whisper in consecutive turns without also getting some regular damage through are not perfect. But yes, ISYTDS can kill a Phantom with full shields in two turns, if everything goes right. So can Wampa. A lucky Proton Bomb or Advanced Homing Missile can do it in one!

Cool. Good to know. I just chose Whisper as it was a low hull ship and would take less turns to write out! 

As to your point of the odds, I reckon they'd be not bad, as any evades would cancel the normal damage first, which would actually make getting a crit through technically easier. Especially if you're using a crit heavy attack like RAC with a target lock.

You still have to hit.  WHisper can usually end up with 4 dice and focus/evade, and possibly palp.

It's not easy to hit her.
