TBot 589 Posted February 4, 2017 Star Killer Base Pilot(30) + FCS(2) Star Killer Base Pilot(30) + FCS(2) Lieutenant Dormitory(31) + FCS(2) + Vader(3) 100 points 36 health, 12 red dice, free target locks, vader bonus critical damage. Plus Lt. Dormitory's ability let's the other two ships be placed right in front of him so we can get to chucking dice even sooner. I wish I had an unlimited x-wing budget to fly this. Not competitive by any means but I would love to fly 3 Batwings in formation. If anyone out there bought 3 of them please appease me and show me what it looks like with 3 of those sexy beasts in formation.

Add at R1 you get 15 Red; this is so funny I may need to go buy 1 more so I can run 3 of them ~ 36 health will keep any list alive even with only 1 agility ships for awhile Edited February 4, 2017 by Cgriffith 1 TBot reacted to this

kraedin 741 Posted February 4, 2017 If you want to start chucking dice sooner, may I suggest: Hyperspace Surprise Starkiller Base Pilot (30)Fire-Control System (2)Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) Starkiller Base Pilot (30)Fire-Control System (2)Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) Lieutenant Dormitz (31)Fire-Control System (2)Hyperwave Comm Scanner (1) Total: 100 You should be able to get first turn focus+target lock shots with two of the three shuttles. 7 Biophysical, Nhoj4, nitrobenz and 4 others reacted to this

Actually you can get TL+Focus+Evade on the two starkillers if you really want to take it to the extreme. Dormitz would be naked but at the back so not really a good target Edited February 4, 2017 by Deffly

thespaceinvader 17,538 Posted February 4, 2017 The range of 3-batwing lists is very encouraging. Mine's Dormitz +2 SKBPs each with FCS and Hypercomm. Of course, I will never run it IRL because the batwing is a ridiculously difficult ship to transport. Unless I can work out how to remove and magnetise the wings... thespaceinvader 17,538 Posted February 4, 2017 I've got a perfectly fine transport solution already. These just take up too much space in it (Also, I don't massively want to spend the money on two more...)

Astech 1,540 Posted February 4, 2017 I don't think 3 Upsilons will outshine 4 Lambdas. Each can have FCS, repositioning (Dormitz or Yorr) and Vader to compensate for ace matchups. Lambdas give you 12 dice, but spread across one more attack. On the other hand, Lambdas give you 40 health vs 36, so that's nice. I'd go with: 2 x SBP (32) Fire Control System. 1 x SPB (36) Fire Control System Kylo Ren Hyperwave Comm Scanner Offensively built. Kylo really sticks it to 2-ship builds. TBot 589 Posted February 4, 2017 Personally I think you gain a lot by switching to the SKBP from the OGP. You gain a hull, a shield, a red Dice, 2 system slots, a red 1 turn, a red 3 turn and the importance of the gained white 2 turn can't be downplayed. All for 9 points. 1 benskywalker reacted to this

Engine25 2,910 Posted February 4, 2017 I've been wanting to do two in a fortress list. Starkiller Base Pilot ++Advanced Sensors ++Fleet Officer ++Systems Officer Starkiller Base Pilot ++Advanced Sensors ++Emperor Palpatine ++Sensor Cluster Epsilon Leader Park them in the Corner, Emperor facing forward, Fleet Officer at 90 degrees into the other. Epsilon Leader broadsiding into them. One activates, advanced Sensors to Fleet Officer, assigning both a focus. Green Maneuver, lets the other target lock if possible, and removing Fleet Officer Stress. Emperor activates, Advanced Sensors to Coordinate to the other one, granting a target lock, if possible. 90 degree coverage of your corner with two 4 die ships that both get Focus and lock until one dies, with an Emperor conversion and one Sensor Cluster to help that one die protect his majesty. Competitive? Hardly? Hilarious and trolly? Absolutely.
