Improvised primitive weapons

Recommended Posts

Ok, so a KT might be caught in the filed for an extended period of time with limited ammo and supplies. Now what would a KT worthy of the name do then? Make improvised weapons from whatever is available, of course!

So what rules would you use for marines making improvised primitive weapons from local resources. Bows, arrows, spears with atlatls, etc?

You may laugh at a marine using a wooden bow and arror or even a sling and a rock, but remember, these guys are huge and superhumanly strong. a bow made by and for a marine would likely dwarf an english longbow and fire an arrow more like a spear! And at the speed and accuracy they could likely send a good size rock out of a sling, your skull is definitely going to come out second best in that conflict.

So, any rules in existence i haven't seen of what?

I'd think all marines would keep in practice with primitive weapons, just in case. And let's face it guys, a good marine could probably throw a rock and kill most grunt troops. termagants, stock IG, grots, etc.

Did Lynata already tell the story of the marine who killed his opponent by picking him up and throwing him so far and hard he landed in a broken mess?
