A Couple of Hoth Questions - Possible Spoilers

Recommended Posts

I have a couple of questions about the Hoth campaign and some of the missions.

In a couple of the missions like Rescue Ops and Escape from Cloud city you have to rescue people.   In both of those cases is says a Rebel Hero can Retrieve said person to be rescued.  Now the question is does that require and action.  Typically in the manuals there will be a hero's gain (action symbol) or will say something like hero's can interact to retrieve.  But that does not say that here.  Does that mean I hero can move next to the token pick it up and keep moving without using another action?

Second on Survival of the Fittest they get the echo base troopers.  Now the need to deploy and evenly as possible between the 2 points.  Does that mean that they can split up the echo base troopers or both of them will have to be deployed to the same side?

1) Page 22 in the RRG has a section about Retrieving Tokens

"Some missions allow figures to retrieve specific tokens. A figure adjacent to or in the same space as the token can perform an interact to retrieve the token."

Which leads to:

"A figure can perform an interact as an action" (RRG, page 15).

So an action must be spent to retrieve the token (prisoner).

2) See:

Troopers are considered 1 group, cannot be split up.
