Actually, IG2000 is probably the most broken thing here, it's only semi-balanced because you can't take it on more than 2 ships in 100 points.

 

Okay, you win. I agree 100%.

 

Mostly because of Palob. Palob has the best pilot ability in the game by a lot but like...his ship is so fragile. Put a cloaking device on that guy along with IG-88 title and no opponent like...on the field can have tokens, and that's before you add in a second broken pilot to start multiplying the absurdity (Fenn or Talonbane maybe? Kavil on Turrets?

 

No wait....Zuckuss....rolling extra red dice if your opponent can't modify their green dice seems good.

Imagine that cheese if they all have IG-2000 title so each ship has the ability of Palob and Fenn Rau. Your opponent like...can't have focus tokens and anytime you're at Range 1 your little Z-95s go up to 4 attack dice and 3 defense dice. You just use the Z-95s as insanely powerful blockers to shield Palob and Fenn and then milk the absurd abilities while your tokenless opponent can't defend themselves. Also, x7 is not a may ability, so any opponent who went with that game plan is having their free evade tokens stolen by your team. Priceless.

Also, just for the sake of simplicity, I don't hate an 8 TIE Swarm where they all have TIE x1 and free accuracy correctors.

 

There's something to be said for taking an evade with each ship and then just launching 8 attacks that all yield 2 hits without fail. Whatever cheese your opponent is trying to milk, they'll run out of tokens eventually (*Dengar results may not be applicable in all states) under your impressive hail of unerring gunfire.

Because then you're staking defense, not offense, which doesn't help much against opponents who are also doing shenanigans.

 

Also, not every ship defends each turn, but ideally, each TIE Fighter attacks each turn. Also, x7, while great, restricts your dial. Using x1 lets you pick the ideal maneuver, barrel roll and still retain your full offensive majesty.

You don't have to get the free evade every turn.  Focus for offense instead of accuracy correcter isn't as good, but 10 ships > 8 ships.

If you don't run this for the tournament you are missing out.

I just love the idea of 5 Headhunters with Hound's Tooth title and one with Light Scyk title. That's essentially 11 ships.

Also, seeing a Headhunter deploy a Headhunter amuses me... hehe

Too bad upgrade cards didn't transfer.  Endless respawning of Zs.

3 HWKs with Punishing One title. Leaves just enough room to squeeze in a naked HWK for value. Cause everyone knows the HWK is the best ship, and doubling its fire power HAS to be good...

/x7 on OL is also tasty, means you can use your Tech for something else; Pattern Analyser is interesting.

This tourney is broken, we know that.  Its just for funs.....

If you want to win, I think IG-2000 is where it's at.  If you want fun, looks like you found some good ships to use.

How about OL with his usual loadout+Weapons Engineer for 29

Kath Scarlet with Weapons Engineer, Expertise, and S/F title for 45

OGP with Palpatine and Tie/x7 for 27. Or another 29 points of whatever you want.

I agree, but I seldom play to win.  Its nice but I'd rather win with something unexpected and have fun.
