AdamGee 4 Posted April 17, 2017 I made these character cards a couple of weeks ago (before Sabine was announced), and thought I would share them here. The Ghost Crew Star Wars Rebels Villains Some quick changes I made after making these images: The Grand Inquisitor cost is up from 13/17 to 15/19. Seventh Sister has the word "instead" added to the end of her ability. Bossk's ability removes 1 damage instead of 2 damage. 3 blackholexan, Kyle Ren and Virtigo reacted to this
Conviction 215 Posted April 18, 2017 Tarkin's ability is broken. Too strong. The game is completely balanced on the 2 free resources each round. Discarding one card is not even a choice. Tarkin would do it EVERY TIME. I like the innovation of trying something new with an ability, but its too strong IMO. Sabine's ability is fun! I like better than the official one, although the interplay with the word "Thermal" is kinda cool. 1 blackholexan reacted to this
Virtigo 85 Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) Hero Blue Event Cost 3 'Is the dark side stronger?' Roll into the dice pool any of your dice until your amount of dice in the pool equals your opponents (Can be from exhausted characters/supports) OR Remove any number of your opponents dice until they equal your amount of dice in the pool (This is about characters but...oh well) Edited April 19, 2017 by Virtigo Changed the cost... cause this event is crazy

Do I need a Username 2,310 Posted May 16, 2017 X-Wing: Red Hero Support, Vehicle, 3 resources Die: [1 Blank / 2 ranged damage / 4 ranged Damage, spend a resource / 2 shield / 1 Special / 1 disrupt The Card has no special ability. The X-wing is best at flying in groups, but it does not do anything better than black one, as It cost a resource to deal 4 damage, and effectively has two blanks (But I'll get to that) Y-wing: Red Hero Support, Vehicle, 3 resources Die:[1 Blank / 1 ranged Damage / 2 ranged Damage / Special / 2 discard / 2 disrupt] Special: Deal 2 damage to each of an opponents characters OR Force them to discard two cards / disrupt two resources A Strong Control option, capable of Forcing an opponent to do things they don't want to. Rebel Pilot: 10 Points, Red Hero, 8 Health, Die: [1 Blank / 1 Resource / 1 resource / 2 ranged damage / special / special ] Special: Play a Vehicle support from your hand, decreasing its cost by two, OR resolve to effect of a special on one of your other Vehicles using this die. All Friendly support Vehicles in play gain the special "Deal two damage to one of your opponents characters. Then, reroll this die instead of removing it from your pool" A strong option for buffing vehicles, and making X-wings just better, the card is mediocre on its own, but Vehicles make it OP (Yet vehicles aren't too strong right now, so I don't think its impossible to beat) 1 Kyle Ren reacted to this

My Yoda was also discussed here: the consensus there was also that my Yoda is a little lackluster. I didn't really design him the way I'd really like to see him, it was more of an attempt to make a Yoda that fit within the typical norms of the game (and make him similar power-level to the other blue heroes, who are generally weaker but make up for it with strong events and upgrades), and make him have a little bit of thematic appeal (pairs with Luke and is great at training people how to use abilities, especially Padawans, for whom the cost is -2!) I do think that trading the resources for focus might be good, and changing the cost to 10/14 for potential pairing with Obi-Wan. I spent a long time making the card, and I guess I got kinda bored of cutting and pasting stuff and made a few sloppy mistakes. Probably not my best work... I think his cost and ability is fine with a shield instead of a blank. It would make him more resistant to cards that take advantage of blanks. He would be surprisingly good. I mean a lot of people said Obi-Wan wasn't any good.

Joelist 148 Posted June 12, 2017 Character: Yoda - Blue Hero Cost:12 (no elite die) Health 10 Sides: 1 Resource, 2 Resource, 2 Discard, 2 Discard, 2 manipulate, 2 manipulate Ability: While this character is in play, opponents may not remove Blue character or ability dice from your dice pool. The idea behind this character is giving Blue a counter to die control decks and also a consistent source of mill and dice manipulation. I gave it only one die and no damage sides both as thematic for the true Yoda (Original Trilogy) and balance - as with two dice this character would be OP. It looks OP even with just one die, actually. I would change (at least) his ability like this (a la tie Pilot): While this die is in your dice pool, your other Blue dice cannot be removed by an opponent. I thought of that, but then the character power is too weak. Blue Hero needs something like this to counterbalance the Villain stuff.
