Stan Fresh 2,465 Posted January 23, 2017 Also, in Rebels, where we see the only canon examples of Inquisitors, they're not truth-finders or arbiters at all. They're more like trackers, assassins, or bounty hunters. They don't go around questioning people or piecing together clues or presiding over trials, they hunt people down. Garran 485 Posted January 23, 2017 "Arbiter" can just as easily mean an arbitrator or a conventional judge, either of which would fit the Consular career theme. 2 Krieger22 and Richardbuxton reacted to this

I think it will be more knowledge based than the Marshal, a combination of Knowledge, Lightsaber and Negotiation. 2 Krieger22 and JavaJawaWow reacted to this
EliasWindrider 2,714 Posted January 24, 2017 So why would a Spec named Inquisitor lead to confusion? I mean obviously having a Career named Bounty Hunter would lead to the same confusion. Or are you just insulting every player of the game by claiming they can't tell the difference between a player character spec and a nemesis? there are not 2 sets of special rules for a game mechanical entitty named "bounty hunter." you are proposing to have 2 sets of special rules for different game mechanical entities both named "inquisitor" 1 Shlambate reacted to this
bradknowles 4,449 Posted January 24, 2017 The rules explicitly state that a Lightsaber cannot be Sundered. The only way to break one without GM-Fu is spending 2 Triumphs on a successful combat check against a person using one. At that point, it's the GM's choice as to whether the crystal survives or not. IIRC, two Triumphs can be used to destroy a piece of normal gear that can be sundered, so for lightsabers I believe you’d need at least three Triumphs to do the same. Even then, I believe that the crystal would be undamaged, and it would be the hilt that is destroyed.
