Mirgonael 5 Posted December 28, 2016 Pardon me, but does anyone know what ship this is, and whether or not it will be added to the X-Wing Miniatures Game? It was used by the Death Troopers as a troop transport in the final battle of Rogue One. Any information would be greatly appreciated. 3 Arterial Spray, Admiral Deathrain and Mechawyvern reacted to this
Admiral Deathrain 5,232 Posted December 28, 2016 Good pictures of it. Would be great as the first large base TIE! FFG hasn't announced anything beyond wave 10, yet, so we will have to wait and see. It is not unlikely to come to X-Wing as it is new and fits the scale (also is a cool design imo). TFA ships were also spread out over 2.5 waves (FO and T-70 in wave 8, SF in wave 9, Upsilon and Quadjumper in wave 10).
incinerator950 387 Posted December 29, 2016 Looks like a flying coffin. Much like the Stryker, it's ugly as **** and there are better ships for the job.
eMeM 3,188 Posted December 29, 2016 We don't know if it's armed and space capable.
Strawhat 89 Posted December 30, 2016 Thank you for posting that picture! I had almost convinced myself that I hadn't actually seen that ship (although I thought it was just a Striker with an extended core).
Crabbok 9,869 Posted December 30, 2016 It's where the Ro-Beast comes out to fight against Voltron. Prince Lotor watches the battle from afar.... 1 heychadwick reacted to this
ViscerothSWG 3,940 Posted January 4, 2017 We don't know if it's armed and space capable. We know it's space capable because we see one flying over that asteroid base in the rings of kafrene near the beginning of the movie. Makes me wonder why a death trooper shuttle was there when Krennic wasn't, though.
Procastination 481 Posted January 4, 2017 So it's loosely based on the Striker and it carries troops. Does it really need to be in X-Wing with the Striker already here?

I think it means it's not a Death Trooper specific ship but a more widespread small transport, when a Lambda is too large for your needs. Kinda like LAAT/i which we see being used as Jedi taxi or police helicopter in RotS and TCW.
Guest Egglanoir Posted January 25, 2017 According to the mobile game by Electronic Arts, Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, the transport TIE is called a TIE Reaper. As for whether if it will be added to the X-Wing Miniature game, that I do not know. 1 Jo Jo reacted to this
thespaceinvader 17,568 Posted January 26, 2017 I'd be surprised if it doesn't show up eventually. Interesting note: it's actually briefly visible in the asteroid colony where we first meet Cassian as well - look for it flying overhead in the first crowd scene, where you see the sky above a long deep street full of people. Which may lead us to infer that it's also space-capable.
