Nostromoid 879 Posted December 23, 2016 Felderr has updated their foam for all three SW games from FFG. Feldherr doesn't have wave 5 yet, but it has up to wave 4.
Baltanok 558 Posted December 24, 2016 Anyone know if the feldherr small foam trays fit in the games+ backpack from miniatures market? I'd love to combine the deep foam trays for AFMs, ISDs, etc and the pluck foam efficiency for everything else. My complaint about the feldherr large cases is that the trays are sideways, and things keep falling out. Maybe I just need to stuff it fuller for safety. Better get more ships. Really, it's for safety, not anything else.
Tekwych 270 Posted December 24, 2016 (edited) Feldherr half-size foam tray for Star Wars Armada Wave 5 Phoenix class / Imperial Light Cruiser All the major foam companies make their dimensions just a bit different so that they are not interchangeable, one of the two dimensions will force you to wedge the tray in or have quite a bit of slop. Battlefoam and GW are interchangeable and Feldherr offers the most varied lone of cases to fit their foam. I also like the cheap cardboard cases they make as well. A great solution for the closet. I can keep dozens of armies form various games dust free then switch them into a travel case the night before game day. They also make some great bit boxes that are the same size as half and full foam trays. Feldherr does have a pluck foam option in full and half trays. Also look at their Mini and Mini Plus cases. They only fit the half size trays. The bit boxes also do a great job of splitting tray space from the other stuff too need to have on game day.
