TheFool 11 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) I like the idea of playing a "mega campaign" where you can keep characters through each campaign story. Since the weaknesses and traumas build up, I see this as naturally balancing the advantages of more powerful cards. Add in an xp cost to advance, and note in your campaign log when certain characters dropped out and others picked up (or possibly when they died / went insane) to have an involved, full game story. It could be fun Unlike what you might suspect, this actually makes the game harder rather than easier. "Veteran" characters can end up weaker than a fresh character, especially if they had a low Health or Sanity to begin with. I hope FFG adds something to deal with trauma at one point, 'cause I too like the idea of running a single investigator through a "mega campaign". Like many have noted, these one-off scenarios just seem to work best in-between *campaigns*, rather than scenarios.
