Custom Storage Solution

Recommended Posts

Here's something for you guys still trying to figure out how to store your game.

I used this box:

Which broken token also makes an insert for:

I did replace the handles and hinges on the box because the box is very cheaply made. But that's what you get for only ~$20. I feel a lot better about it with that stuff being replaced. I also made my own custom vinyl graphics for it. Anyways this is what I've come up with, plenty of storage for the future as well (this is 2 cores and Rougarou):

Thread jack for people looking for an alternative, I used the Go7 Gaming box.

So an update to before. I am using the Go7 gaming case for the smaller LCGs (make sure you order the right one) I do not have a picture as I am currently at work, but the box works great.

Pros:

Token box fits in the middle and fits all tokens sorted in to smaller compartments

Plenty of dividers to split up player cards by class and a lot of encounter cards by scenario or encounter set

Dividers are clear and allow easy grabbing of cards and seeing what is there.

Leaves space for books on top

Room to grow and will probably hold the full first cycle.

Cons:

The lid doesn't close all the way which is only a small annoyance.

There is no designated location for the small investigator location cards.

There will be limited space to hold more than one cycle and eventually player cards will fill up as well.

You have to use glue to glue it all together so be careful.

Before today I hadn't heard of Broken Token or Go7 or anything like them. I appreciate folks taking the time to discuss, share photos, and provide links.

I just ordered AH:LCG so I also ordered the BT organizer that's recommended on their site...Browse by Game menu option. I ordered the five FFG painted investigator figures, too.

My storage for LotR:LCG is standard cardboard cardboxes with a ton o' dividers. I'm hoping the BT organizer severely limits the number of dividers.

Go7Gaming makes a great insert (ASB-001, 002, 003, and 004)  for the Hobby Lobby Artist's Supply Sketch Box. I then decoupage a copy of the rules cover onto the case. I use them for all of my LCGs and many other card games. There is almost a 40% off coupon for the case at their website. Check the top right corner in the above link.

That is amazing man. HOw did you make the vinyl graphics? I'd love to something similar for my Kingdom Death box (which I did buy from broken token, they offer high end supplies).

Thank you! I have access to a vinyl plotter at my work. I created the art myself and made it on that.
