GyldenDamgaard 84 Posted November 23, 2016 So, if Murne has "Company of Heroes" and the Heroes have earned the "Allied Operations" reward card, it seems like they can just bring Lando (which they have also earned after the first mission of our Extended Bespin Gambit campaign) for 0 Threat on every mission? Kinda sorta resulting in them being five players... -ish? ****...

GyldenDamgaard 84 Posted November 24, 2016 (edited) Phew, disaster avoided. The heroes made the grave mistake of securing three terminals at the end of round 1 in the "Luxury Cruise" side mission (I may have placed my figures such that it made securing terminals easier for the Heroes), giving me 15 Threat to spend during the status phase in round 2, effectively dumping my entire hand. From there, it made no sense trying to win for the rebels... So, now, Lando still costs only 2. Hm. Edited November 24, 2016 by GyldenDamgaard
a1bert 4,115 Posted November 24, 2016 (edited) Btw, how are you extending the Bespin Gambit campaign? Either of my suggestions? Edited November 24, 2016 by a1bert
GyldenDamgaard 84 Posted November 29, 2016 (edited) Btw, how are you extending the Bespin Gambit campaign? Either of my suggestions? Yeah, well, I read some of the variants you linked to (and thanks for that by the way), but ultimately ended up experimenting and house-ruling. I basically stuck in a Side Mission after the intro-mission, two Side Missions after the first Story Mission and then another two Side Missions after the second Story Mission. Then I custom-built the Side Mission Deck into exactly ten missions, so that whenever the players have to choose a Side Mission, they draw two, pick one and discard the other (back to the box). The story. I fiddled around a little with the rewards for the Story and Side Mission and now we have a 9-mission campaign that quite closely resembles (balance wise) the Core Game Campaign. We've only played to Intro Mission and the first Story Mission so far, but it seems to be working. Vesper2112 9 Posted November 29, 2016 (edited) ^^^^ I might have to try that. I don't have the Bespin one yet, but maybe for Twin Shadows (once we get done with Hoth). I found that the Rebel players grew an attachment to their characters in the long campaigns, but not so much in the small one, so this might do the trick (and make for a longer campaign... which we like).
