DeathstarII 1,164 Posted November 21, 2016 I'm flying Poe with Rey. Do I use PS8 Poe with autothrusters or PS9 Poe with integrated? It's more personal preference, what does the rest of your list look like? 1 Karhedron reacted to this
ObiWonka 7,081 Posted November 21, 2016 Is your Rey PS8 or PS9 with Adaptability? Having both at the same PS helps movement order and targeting priority. Either way, it comes down to what you want your Poe to do (Black One Title optional): Budget/Maneuverability Poe + Push the Limit + BB-8 + Primed Thrusters + Integrated Astromech Comes in under 40 points. BB-8/PtL has always let you perform two actions in addition to the Barrel Roll without ending up stressed. Primed Thrusters means you can still get some/all of that even if you start stressed. R5-P9 Regen Poe + PtL + R5-P9 + Autothrusters + Pattern Analyzer 4 points more than the above. Pattern Analyzer lets you do BB-8/PtL shenanigans without the Barrel Roll, and also still get your Focus for Poe/R5-P9 even on red moves. Autothrusters should be a must in all but the most budget package. R2-D2 Regen Poe + R2-D2 + PtL + Autothrusters + Sensor Cluster Add another point. Focus is no longer a required action, but when you do have it, between Poe's ability, Sensor Cluster, and active Autothrusters you are guaranteed to be able to get 2 Evades. Sensor Cluster and Pattern Analyzer are relatively interchangeable, again coming down to exactly what you need Poe to do. Black One is good on any build, but synergizes best with the budget Poe due to BB-8 (you can remove two target locks per turn if needed). 1 blade_mercurial reacted to this
skins1924 632 Posted November 21, 2016 Here is my list with PS9 Poe HotR (100) Rey (57) - YT-1300 Expert Handling (2), Finn (5), Kanan Jarrus (3), Millennium Falcon (1), Smuggling Compartment (0), Inertial Dampeners (1) Poe Dameron (43) - T-70 X-Wing Push The Limit (3), R2-D2 (4), Pattern Analyzer (2), Black One (1), Integrated Astromech (0) 1 ObiWonka reacted to this
Shinren 75 Posted November 21, 2016 Soon I'll try a similar list with ps9 poe and rey. I have always loved the ptl+bb-8 configuration for poe and I wanna try rey with opportunist, so... T-70 X-Wing: · Poe Dameron (33) Push The Limit (3) · BB-8 (2) Autothrusters (2) · Black One (1) Sensor Cluster (2) YT-1300: · Rey (45) Opportunist (4) Smuggling Compartment (0) · Kyle Katarn (3) · Kanan Jarrus (3) · Millennium Falcon (Segnor's Loop) (1) Inertial Dampeners (1) I know that the rey+Finn is a good combo, but also kanan and kyle seem good with the falcon. 2 ObiWonka and Karhedron reacted to this

ObiWonka 7,081 Posted November 21, 2016 Obiwonka apparently knows how to Poe! I've been flying the thematic Budget Poe™ a little lately and it's a lot of fun and surprisingly competitive for not being what most might consider an "optimized" build. Shinren's Poe build is a good blend of budget and defense: no regen, but still squirrely and a tough nut to crack.
Skargoth 1,703 Posted November 21, 2016 I've been running decked Poe lately, and done well with multiple combos. My favorite is: Poe Dameron (PS9) (33) Push the Limit (3) R5-P9 (3) Pattern Analyzer (2) Autothrusters (2) Black One (1) Green Squadron Pilot (19) Crack Shot (1) Chardaan Refit (-2) Snap Shot (2) A-Wing Test Pilot (0) Green Squadron Pilot (19) Crack Shot (1) Chardaan Refit (-2) Snap Shot (2) A-Wing Test Pilot (0) Prototype Pilot (17) Chardaan Refit (-2) Total: 99 View in Yet Another Squad Builder Swapped the As for Corran or Miranda and added Plasmas to Poe, but A-wings are more fun and I'm a firm believer that once you hit 4 ships it's harder for opponents to manage. 1 ObiWonka reacted to this
BlodVargarna 4,041 Posted November 21, 2016 I have been running Fat Poe: PS9 PTL, R2-D2, Pattern Analyzer, Auto thrusters. B1 title. 45 points and it kicks ass. 1 ObiWonka reacted to this

Budgernaut 6,255 Posted November 30, 2016 - how do you get rid of two target locks? You can use BB-8 to get a free barrel roll action (remove one target lock with Black One), and then Push the Limit to do a boost action (removing a second target lock). 1 ObiWonka reacted to this
TrenchRunner 72 Posted December 1, 2016 I really like the R2-D2 Poe w/ Sensor Cluster. You only have 2 ships, so it helps with making Poe a little more survivable. He will face a lot of shots and will need that cluster to help sustain him a bit while Rey does her job. If Rey gets killed a little early, he has the ability to close with cluster and movement regen.
