roguePenguin 0 Posted November 16, 2016 Hi all, got this game by accident and really like it! Doing a solo run and got a few questions... 1. For cards with multiple copies, it says ##/## at the bottom. I cannot find a complete series in my core set. For example, I may only have 1/7, 3/7, 5/7, etc. But not all 7 copies. Should I be worried? 2. When playing the first quest... the instruction says to use all cards with a certain symbol. Should I include all multiple copies? I asked because I used the fed agent and nearly died because I drew so many agility checks (those hands through the floor) and he has the agility of a sloth's. 3. I guess I am generally confused about the timing of advancing the the act cards. And I'll try to mask any spoiler. I was starting fine. Then in stage two I had a chance to search locations A and B, each has two clues. I went to A and got all clues. Then I headed to B and got one clue. Now I have three clues to advance my act card. My first question is: should I only advance this during investigator turn? Or instantaneous? If I can avoid engaging the boss in the hallway, I'd like to delay the advancement until my next first action.

Which ones specifically are you missing, for which encounter set (symbol?). While packaging errors do occur, generally this is just confusion because cards like Lita Chandler has a player back (and is packaged with player cards) despite being an encounter deck card (for good reason), etc. 2. Yes, every copy (from 1 core set). Sometimes your Skids keeps facing willpower tests, sometimes your low agility Roland keeps eating grasping hands. 3. The rules say you can advance the act deck whenever the investigators choose to, as a free action, spending the requisite number of clues among them. However, Act 2a has a specific instruction on it as to how and when you can advance it - which overwrites the usual process. There, only investigators in the correct location (and at the time specified by Act2a - I'm avoiding spoilers too!) can spend clues to advance the act deck.
