My copy finally arrived yesterday. Took the day off to play it today. Get everything set up and got some atmospheric music on. I'm in the zone, reading through the Learn to Play guide. The I get to step 16: set aside Lita Chantler... and I don't have that card.

 

It seems like its essential to the scenario, so basically I can't play the game. I'm so disappointed  Its quite literally ruined my day. 

 

I've submitted a missing parts request but guessing its going to be ages before I get it (if at all?).

The back of Lita's card has a player card backing and as such it is not found with the rest of the encounter or location cards. Check through all of the unused player cards. I've seen this same issue on several forums and everyone so far has managed to find it.

As I recall, it was one of the first cards in the player card pile when I went through them.

As packaged, I believe all the character-unique cards should be at the top of the player card pile.

hum checking my set now.. 2/7 is missing ... set with frozen in fear dissonat voices  rotting remains.. 2 of each = 7.. whats number 2 in this set? guessing a 3rd rotting remains?

I went trough the same panic. I would figure the cards that belonged to the scenario would be with the scenario, like lord of the rings.

Thank You! I was in a panic too I just bought the game was setting it up excitedly and thought man jipped by one card. Whew!

I looked through all of the cards for two hours teying to find this card and i was sure i was missing it. It ended up being stuck to another card. But i thought i was missing that exact one also but its there

I recommend putting all the cards face down. Lita was last in my bags, so would be easy to spot that way.

Yeah, the collation of the cards is a little suspect. Had to riffle through everything at least twice to find everything I needed for my first playthrough.
