In All Things, Balance IC

Kumro watches as the two finally finish arguing, and smiles in relief. "They offered to let us see the artifacts. So, then, we see the artifacts. We gather what knowledge we can, and decide what we might share with our Mandalorian acquaintance." She stands and begins pacing, the need to plan begetting the need to move. "The trick, I think, will be telling him just enough. Just enough that he still does not know our full goal to stop us." Her large black eyes narrow as she thinks. "Enough, maybe, that he couldn't betray us to the Empire without also betraying himself."

Restraining himself, Ora nonetheless gave both the professor and the arrogant zabrak a smile as talks ended for the time being. He had a few hours before the talks continued and in that time he had a few things to do. The first of which being to get himself a drink after dealing with these zuzaks, then he needed to take a look at the artifacts uncovered.

As he passed by the Mandalorian, his mind reviewed his master’s orders. They were simple enough, though the number of artifacts meant that he would be on Iridonia for a while.

Professor Ashla Myran resisted the urge to punch the infuriating zabrak. That arrogant son of a hutt was…just…

“Avalon, take the afternoon off. I need to relieve some stress,” and she knew just how to do it.

"Fine by me." Avalon said, thankful for being exscused from the endless hours of talking. A polite conversation wasn't out of Avalon's comfort range, but several hours of endless talking on such a simple matter was, needless to say, boring. And very very annoying. He walked out of the building, heading for the mess and was going to grab a quick snack, but then he remembered what he had felt when the diplomat had passed him.  Like he was up to something dishonest. But that wasn't Avalon's problem, at least not yet. When he got to where he was going to eat he saw the crew of the ship that had just arrived, huh. Looks like they were talking about something, it had been a long time since Avalon had had many friends. But his brief moment of sadness cleared when his triplecheese nerf burger arrived, he sat down on a table near enough that he could hear the conversation of the other group, but he wasn't too noticable.

Zoma....didn't like people...well to be more precise, he didn't like this many people. The bar with Avalon was excusable, he was able to hole himself up in the corner of the booth, a nice wll behind him and able to watch everyone, until the liquor kicked in and did its job. This, this was different. Too many people, out in the open, how many people were looking at him? Judging him? Zoma never liked cafeterias.

He had already finished his bantha steak salad, wonderful thing, and was trying to split his attention between listening to Yezil prattle on about last night's rendezvous, and  looking at everyone in the mess. Too much to watch at once, too much coming and going too surrounded too much....Zoma realized he was getting too frantic and Bull was watching him with a smirk. I've got to compose myself more around that one, he likes pushing buttons. Zoma stopped looking around and tried to focus in one direction, just to calm himself. He began flexing his hands under the table.

As he was staring off in the direction to the left of him slightly, an image of Avalon coalesced in his line of sight. He had sat by himself, facing them, but didn't appear to be watching them. Actually it looked like he had nothing else on his mind other than the massive, messy burger he was just given. "....well we don't have to find the mandolorian, just come to a decision on what to do about him" Zoma said to the group, now intently watching Avalon chow down on his lunch.

Kumro nods to Bull and gets up, a warm expression making its way onto her face. She wanders over to where Avalon is sitting and puts one hand on the table's edge.

"Avalon, was it?" She leans against the table, a (very deliberate) casualness to her movements. "I remember you from last night." She lowers her voice and looks troubled. "None of us understand what's going on. If you know something—anything..."

She shakes her head. "Something's going on, it must be. What happened last night wasn't normal. Coincidences like that don't happen outside holovids."
