perfect, ok so like I said I was thinking of either her being how Zoma got off planet, or she found him on some random starport and took pity on him and is continuously trying to get him more social. 

 

This would also logically mean she knows his distaste for Imperials, and could make use of that

Sidenote - Avalon made their character for another PBP we are in as Faramir from Lord of the Rings, like made NO attempt to mask the fact either. And I love it

Oh, just a note—Kumro may have introduced herself as "ship's negotiator" earlier, but less because that's her actual job description and more because I feel like she has a bit of a habit of introducing herself as whatever seems most convenient at the time.

And she was hoping she could distract people from Yezil's antics, not that it worked.

No, I'm not sure what Kumro's actual job description is. She's a Mystic/Advisor, so there's probably some truth to "negotiator," but...
